KOMO - Seattle, WA : Ken Schram: Cold-hearted whiners | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | News

Hey, why don't we just get rid of zoning laws in Seattle? We could just vote each time on whether a project should happen or not and the less we know about the proposal and its impact the better. Or, we could just measure the size of the applicant's PR budget or the number of folks they can round up on the courthouse steps and decide based on that. For Ken's neighborhood, his neighbors that profess to be nice to children could build anything they want and force the neighbors to sell to them. And, any suckers who are left would have to pave their yards to provide parking for the nice people. With so many wonderful charitable people in it, Seattle doesn't really need zoning laws, does it?
