Hi

I got a iphone which I had bought it from USA and now by mistake I upgraded it and its locked. I used the phone in India before it was upgraded and locked. Its 3GS 3.1.3, 32 GB.

I am going back to USA, can I use the iphone in USA though it is upgraded and locked ? if so, I can give the phone to my friend who can use it and I can buy a factory unlocked phone.

I had bought this unlocked iphone from US and by mistake I upgraded it to 3.1.3 with new bootroom. Now I want to check whether the official carrier Vodafone will unlock it and can I use it.

I am ok if they have carrier locked. at least I can use my phone

Hi
Iphone 3GS has been official launched in India by Vodafone. I have a locked Iphone 3GS, 3.1.3 with new baseband which I wrongly updated. Assuming Vodafone unlocks the phone, can i use other service providers sim.

Pls advice

Iphone 3GS 3.1.3 will be officially launched in my country (India) and I have a Iphone 3GS 3.1.3 locked handset with new baseband. I like to know if I insert the official sim card into my locked iphone, will it work ? I had bought the handset from USA. Pls advice
