How is it just that I deserve eternal damnation but can be excused from this sentence because an innocent man died for me? I understand justice to mean that the guilty pay the price; not that an innocent person pay the price even if the innocent person is willing. This is a twisted view of justice.

" Mr. Dawkins has the beauty of creation displaying the genius of God’s handiwork, and he doesn’t think it was created. He thinks instead that nothing created everything..."

Christians see the beauty of God and the genius of the God Maker's handiwork and don't think God was created. They think that nothing created God (a scientific impossibility)...

(sorry if this is a duplicate!)

" Rather, we know that God exists because of the order in nature--from the incredible order of the atom to the amazing order of the universe."

If one accepts this line of reason as being valid than one must, to be consistent, conclude that God was created. I've yet to meet anyone who thinks this though. God's existence, if indeed He exists, is proof that complex, ordered objects exist without being created.

Besides, how do we conclude that there is only one Creator? Why not a myriad of them? Our experience tells us that very complicated objects require lots of creators.

"Sorry, they are punished for their own sins. "

Actually, according to the Bible, we are punished for the sins of Adam and Eve. For instance, women have pain when their children are born. There are other punishments listed in Genesis that apply to all humans.

The point Steven_J makes appears to be correct. There are inconsistencies in the Bible. Witness the fact that there are many, many different denominations with different beliefs about various subjects. One might conclude that there are no inconsistencies in the Bible in a strict logical sense and these differing beliefs all come from humans incorrectly interpreting the Bible but this appears to me to stretch the imagination. Even so, one is left to conclude that

"He would make it so we were sure it was from Him. ..... Teachings are in perfect harmony. "

is clearly false then. It's hard to believe such one His followers can't agree on the meaning of the teachings in perfect harmony.

It is quite interesting that you did not include adultery in the list of things that Christians don't do. I doubt very much that no Christian looks at a woman or man lustfully. As you are wont to say doing such is adultery.

As to the lie thing. It's interesting to note that Peter denied knowing Christ 3 times. Was he not a Christian? David was man after God's own hear according to he Bible and he had someone killed illegally.

Christians spend an eternity in heaven after they die. They are on Earth for 100 years or so. Much of that time is spent sleeping, eating, doing labor, and the daily minutia of living. What is the point of

"Other times He makes us wait so that we learn to exercise faith and patience. "

Is this really the best method of teaching these things? What's the purpose of teaching us this now instead of in heaven?

The same argument proves beyond a doubt to any thinking mind that there is a a Creator of the Creator.

It is hard to imagine how someone can believe that God is uncreated and laugh at the notion that some other object is not created. Surely God, should He actually exist as depicted by Christians, must be much more complicated than anything in the universe. If this immensely complicated object exists and was not created, as Christians believe, then of necessity they can't argue that the universe must have been created since it is a complex object. The lack of consistency is distressing.

The first sentence of this post is:

'If a man doesn’t fear God, he will naturally have eyes that are “full of adultery.” '

It's worth pointing out that the contrapositive is

If a man doesn't naturally have eyes full of adultery then he fears God.

Does the author of this blogpost really believe that all asexual people fear God? Perhaps the author doesn't think asexual people exist.

That is a good point.
