<description>This isn&amp;#039;t the first time teachers have gone on strike in this state.  I think if you read  the law, teacher strikes are not illegal.   There is nothing wrong with fighting for something you feel will truly impact our kids learning. If they would have obeyed the judge, what would be the point of teachers ever asking for anything again if all the district has to do is take them to court to end their requests. </description>
