Hi Tanniah, Thanks for your comment. The system can be used for up to 3 years. But you have to make sure your baby is not too tall. My cute nephew for example is very tall for his age so we have to get him clothes that fits for 24 months but he is only 14 months old. Hi Juliette, congrats, when is the baby due? If the baby is due after the summer, clothing is much easier because you can play with nice dresses and skirts. If the baby decides to only come in winter, this is the period we need to look out for. Let's see, so for summer you don't have to worry, I wouldn't buy anything, rather play with what you have at home. You can wear dresses and tops and even cut of long skirts and pull them up so that it looks like a boob tube. When going into winter I suggest to get one or two maternity trousers and a warm jacket. Rachel has some amazing tips on maternity clothes on our blog. There is quite a bit of stylish clothing out there. Just take an afternoon off and really browse the relevant high street shops and don't forget the online shops. You don't need a lot, just key pieces. Also keep your eyes and ears open for second hand maternity clothing sales and what about asking friends and families? That way you get what you need and find little luxury items. Hi Gina, Thanks for your great question. Shaggy rugs look beautiful in any room. There are very cozy and can be an eye catcher in the right colour. But you are right, they need to be cleaned to keep looking nicely. Vacuum your shag regularly twice a week. For a deeper cleaning sweep the rug with a bristle broom, it gets down into the pile and pushes the dirt out. You can also try to shake them outdoors and use a paddle to knock the dirt out of them. Now there could be a bigger problem with stains. How do you get them out of the rug? I suggest to first scoop up as much of the spill as possible. Then absorb as much of the liquid with a paper towel or a cloth by blotting. And in the last step you should try to apply some warm water and blot well to extract the residue. You have to repeat this step until there is no detergent on the rug. After that you have to wait until the rug is completely dry and vacuum the area. I hope this helps you a little bit. Hi Melanie, Generally, I would spend more money on food than the decoration. However, that doesn't mean you can't decorate. In other words, let's keep it simple. Serviettes are very effective tools to add colour to your dining table. Since it is a romantic dinner you could buy red serviettes and arrange them nicely in your red wine glasses, or you can cut the serviettes in a heart shape and arrange the thin layers on the table. On your way home, break some leaves of a bush or tree (don't do that too frequently) and arrange them in the middle of the table or on each place. If you want to spend more money you can also place a red rose on your loved once plate. This way you are mixing red and green, which is a very powerful colour combination. Otherwise you can do a lot with lighting, smells and music. The smell will be taken care of, since you will cock a great meal. Hi, Thanks for this great question. First of all I love the dress too. It is so cute. It took me a while to find it. I couldn't find the exact designer but I found a one shoulder silk dress by Isabel Marant Etoil that looks similar. It is a bit expensive though. There are great alternatives. Topshop has an "one should cover up" in different colours. Or check out an Emily & Fin Sadie dress. I hope I could help you, I know how it is when you really want to find this dress or the sweater you saw on somebody, that can drive me crazy. Have fun shopping for it. It is a beautiful dress.
