@callmelate FYI- This is a "comment" board, where members express their opinions. Nothing says you have to agree with those said opinions. I know it's difficult for folks like you to understand that.
There's nothing worse then having to tell those little Boy Scouts trying to sell you popcorn that you won't be supporting their bigoted organization. I will continue to do it however, as nicely as possible.
Actually, you are wrong. I'm surprised a Starbucks Barista wouldn't know what's actually in the drink. I just copied/pasted this from Starbucks website 10 seconds ago....

Seriously? My hearing has never been the same since seeing a Marilyn Manson/Hole show in Seattle years ago (Key Arena I think it was). Call me crazy but I thought I was stupid for not having the sense to either move, leave, or wear the free earplugs they handed out at the door. Never for a minute did I think the artist was responsible. That's crazy! Too many people are looking for a free ride these days.
That poor little thing. By the looks of that one photo, it appears he's got another fawn to keep him from being lonely at the wildlife center. That's good to see.
I am a big fan of their passion fruit iced tea & iced passion fruit lemonade, but these two new drinks are seriously flawed. The hibiscus one has berries in it which sounded & looked great, but then I actually ate one & it was absolutely disgusting. Sour, previously frozen, strange texture, slimy... The hibiscus drink would be ok, maybe even good if you skipped the berries. The lime-mint one was way worse. It has mint flavoring or essential oil added to it. Ok, I like mint, but their mint tasted more like basil. I like basil too, but it was way too strong and the lime slice that was in it tasted old!!
Starbucks has some great drinks, but these two are not it.
I can't wait for the zip line either, I've been wanting to do one of those for a long time now. I've never been out to the park in Sequim, thanks for the tip! I just might head out there this weekend & check it out.
Oh man, that blows. I had one as well (never realized how common they were until recently). Mine only destroyed a big chunk out of a bush in my front yard that's been growing for the past 20 years or so. It was about 20 feet from my front door. Scary stuff!!!! Luckily mine was basically nothing in comparison, but still made my heart race. I love the thunderstorms regardless.
He certainly deserves them after going through that.
