I have searched through several articles regarding this case. I was certain I had read about medicine being used in the first news articles. If I am out of line or wrong regarding prescription meds and this boy I truly apologize, but not what I say about the medications!! Thank you!
Society killed this man and this family. The boy was clearly depressed over major losses in his life. Our society states that feeling grief or being sad is not "normal" therefor we are given "anti-depressants" to "fix" us! First off it clearly states that antidepressants should NOT be given to anyone under 18 years of age. Why you ask...well a teenager is chemically imbalanced to begin with. Trying to go from child to adult mentally and physically! You give mind altering drugs to an already altered mind and what do you get??? Look at the past records of all the kids who are killing, the majority of them are on anti-depressants! Why is feeling grief or sadness not right anymore? You all can dispute what I say but I will tell you this....My husband almost died last winter from anti-depressants....he got what is called..."serotonin syndrome" The medication basically caused a back up of brain chemicals and almost killed him! This boy will suffer because some innocent family member was told it was okay for him to take medication for a normal process of grief and sadness over a lose close to his heart!
Isn't that the very truth of it all!!!
I'm continually amazed by the lack of empathy our society displays and tolerates. How can that many people of that type of personality glitch be bunched together? All of those people in that house and not one of them found this senseless killing disturbing enough to either call police or try to stop it. While I am disturbed by the horrendous torture of a living being I am far more disturbed by the fact that a young man of only 14 years of age can not only watch but be involved in this twisted display. I really hope the authorities understand what this means for a young man of this age and they try to get him some form of mental help because this kind of activity is what causes serial killers. Maybe they need to do some deeper checking on the man that was involved. I bet he has a very colorful past! This story makes the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up on end!!!
