Let's see: which President had the big oil companies write their own rules and regulations in secret at the start of his Presidency? Which oil company refused to follow the warnings of its own workers that the oil rig was not being properly used and that the drilling could be a problem? Which oil company did not spend the $500,000 (rather paltry compared to $20B I'd say) on a protective device that might have stopped the blow-out? Which President actually visited the Gulf four times to lend support and who got the $20B from BP so those who were damaged would not have to wait as the folks have since the Exxon spill in Alaska? See, you Obama haters cannot stand the fact he is articulate, speaks in full sentences, has actually succeeded in all he has attempted ( some recent President failed in all of his endeavors), has a sterling family life, does not philander, can actually hit a three point jump shot, and thinks before he speaks. Does he walk on water? No, but he does not deserve the narrow minded, ad hominum attacks based on his color, race, name or whatever his religion or non-religion. Oh, yes, I am a life long Republican who was a member of the Bush-Quayle Presidential Round Table and who ran the local McCain for President campaign in 2004. I'd love to see serious criticism and not this blathering bombast being unleashed on our President.
