KOMO - Seattle, WA : 3 injured in I-5 crash on I-5 near Centralia | KOMO News - Breaking News, Sports, Traffic and Weathe

It does not help either though that truck drivers in the particular region are extremely hostile. I was doing five over and two semi came barreling up behind me doing ~75 (in 60 zone) in the fast lane. I had a few more cars to pass before i could merge over. the truck driver decided to get within a car length and turn on his brights (at night). i got over and they both passed me and they got pulled over two miles down the road. Washington has extremely discourteous drivers. People are extremely territorial over their "space" on the freeway. It wouldn't kill everyone to let someone in who wants to change lanes, it would actually reduce congestion.

this comment is extremely disrespectful of all of our service men and women, past and present. War is not something to be taken lightly, nor is the mental disruptions it can cause.

fist off this will increase traffic in non HOT lanes on i-405 because people will not be willing to pay. Secondly it will increase traffic on i-90. Olympia is run by a bunch of monkeys, our state government has shut out the voice of the people and they will suffer the consequences in the next election

KOMO - Seattle, WA : State deficit rises to $2.8 billion on court case | KOMO News - Breaking News, Sports, Traffic and W

as far as not extending sales tax breaks to out of state companies would be unconstitutional. states cant enact laws that hurt interstate commerce. As far as our state and federal government is concerned hopefully those people who were extremely naive (especially the younger generation) in their choice of vote may finally be seeing the big picture. however finding an identity as a young person in their political role may make a few mislead choices along the way without thinking of future consequences. deficit spending much like the "new deal" no longer has its place in modern society, the government (both state and federal) needs to focus on cutting non essential wasteful programs and stop punishing hard working middle and upper middle class citizens for their extensive contributions to society.

KATU - Portland, OR : Trails, camps may close as part of Washington state\'s budget woes | KATU.com - News - Portland, Ore

anyone with economic sense would realize that closing down the Mt. Si trails is a mistake. the benefit that comes from people driving there, buying supplies, maybe stop by the outlets in north bend far outweighs the cost of maintaining the trails. sure some of the lesser known trails don't need to be cleaned up because the people who hike them are normally more avid hikers and don't need a perfect trail. they could also kick the little fat kids off their game consoles and make them hike the trails to solve the childhood obesity epidemic

KOMO - Seattle, WA : River Road speeders: Hit the brakes or pay up | KOMO News - Breaking News, Sports, Traffic and Weath

driving is a privilege granted by the state, not a right. they can enforce the privilege as much as they want which includes speed cameras and red light cameras. if you obey the law then you have nothing to worry about so i don't see why people are complaining. speeding saves almost no time and now it will cost you more monetarily than it saves time wise.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Most of you don\'t know if your tires are safe | KOMO News - Breaking News, Sports, Traffic and Weat

i run the traction T/A on my car. they are great all around tires. they shed a ton of water and have great traction on gravel (i don't know about the snow because i drive my suburban) and have a harder sidewall compound for better handling people who are careless about taking care of their tires are endangering not only themselves, but everyone else on the roads as well

i think that reduction of property taxes could help owners, but only those who plan on living in their homes for the long haul. However, residents of smaller local communities with the corresponding small school districts already do pay more in property taxes than more densely populated areas. also the fact that the states deficit is growing, tax hikes are already on the table.

the reason people move to places like these towns is to "stay off the grid". my parents home in Hockinson could see devaluation of 300,000-500,000 dollars if these lines run through their neighbors front yard. if they are going to put 15 story towers throughout eastern Clark county they should pay every penny of devaluation for all properties that are affected
