Unfortunately, many of the jobs done by volunteers (preventive maintenance, for example) still have to be done.

Hitler and his ilk would agree with you as to the "final solution".

Those who advocated Eugenics (forced sterilization of "the unfit" (mentally deficient, etc.) would also agree,

Fortunately, this is the United States of America, and we're better then that.

Several Comments:
1) Instant end to illegal immigration: Fine anyone who hires an illegal $100,000 per illegal per day. Doesn't matter if it's a homeowner getting a lot cleaned up, or a Fortune 500 company hiring janitors. At that fine rate, there will be no jobs for illegals in short order. The recession resulted in an estimated 2 million illegtals leaving the country because there were no jobs (sources: fox news, WSJ).

2) Kids brought here a minors by family members have NOT committed a crime. Staying in the US illegally is not a crime (look it up!!). They aren't citizens, but they should be allowed to become legal residents is they haven't broken the law and have achieved some educational goals.

3) If the parents came illegally (and hence criminally), why not just remove the children (US Citizens as well as those brought as minors) from their custody and put them up for adoption?

59% of the AZ budget comes from the Federal Government (online at the state website).

Imagine the state with a 60% budget cut. Kiss the schools and roads good-by! Say adios to LE!

I suppose the three year old who is brought in by his parents should be executed also?

The law was vetoed by Brewer as "anti-business".

The chamber of commerce wants illegals present, and doesn't want any business penalized for hiring them.

DUI needs to be redefined as "Attempted Vehicular Homicide" at the least, preferably as "Attempted Murder".

Intoxication should not be a mitigation of responsibility unless you can prove that you did not ingest the intoxicant knowingly (the only examples I can think of are the spiked punchbowl at a party or reaction to prescription medication the first time it happens).

Make the punishment incarceration at the perpetrator's expense, impound and sale of the vehicle, and a huge fine the first time. Up the jail time and the fine by a factor of 10 the second time, and again each subsequent time.

The groper deserved a good beating, followed by a jail term.

If the other guy did nothing more the verbal abuse, however, you can't legally touch him. (Free Speech, the "sticks and stones" doctrine).

And I'm disturbed by the "never found a knife" aspect.

Full disclosure: My daughter was assaulted while running along the beach in Pensacola. Her attackers were very upset to discover that she is a career Navy officer who annually competes in the Marine Corps unarmed combat open competition (and is a past Champion and has never finished out of the top 10). Both got extended Hospital stays (5 weeks and 4 months), needed extensive dental work, and long jail terms.

Final comment: My Army instructor in unarmed combat had a simple initial speech: "If you get in a hand to hand fight, expect to get hurt. Just be sure to leave the other guy without the ability to hurt you further."

Assuming the jury finds him guilty (not a foregone conclusion), he will die in prison because he is facing a mandatory 50 years (38 years assuming good behavior) on a conviction. (PA has a mandatory CONSECUTIVE sentencing in sex crimes law).

If he is acquitted however, he'll be in a position to sue both the accusers and their lawyers under PA slander law.

I self-insure my employees and have basically told the Insurance companies and big Medical corporations to go hang themselves. I employ three people who do nothing but validate claims including going through every hospital and doctor bill line by line (we are a company that specializes in audits, so it is a no-brainer). It is very interesting that all the local Hospitals and Doctors who have dealt with us in the past have cleaned up their billing (after I offered to put the bill from a major hilltop hospital on the front page of the Oregonian where it showed not one but SEVEN gynocological services on a male patient). Once they realized we would check every line, and match it to records (second appendectomy, anyone?), they all cleaned up their acts. Since we pay within 5 days of receipt and confirmation (audit), they actually prefer to deal with us (even if they can't pad the bills).

Since we started this seven years ago, we've save a total of $9 Million from the insurance premiums against our actual costs. (I supply no-deductible, no-copay 100% paid medical/dental/vision to my employees and their families as part of their employment. Many people have told me that this is stupid on my part, but I've tripled the number of employees and expanded steadily over the last five years while having very low turnover, so I'll keep my "stupid" business model.) $9 Million has paid for gym memberships, wellness programs, etc.
