Intimidation and ridicule, two tools used to marginalize opposition. We are called radicals, racists, hate-mongers, and a litany of other adverbs. We are mocked and prodded. We are slapped and spit upon. We are shouted down and caricatured. We are made the brunt of their jokes. But through it all, we hold our heads high. Through it all, we maintain our character. It is our honor, integrity, values, principles, and morals that allow us to stand above it all. It is our faith in God that separates us from the zoo that seeks to trample us in the dust. 912ers, we are making a difference. we are gaining ground one inch at a time. We must maintain our character and moral fiber if we ever hope to succeed in pushing back the onslaught of evil that is beating at our door. My prayer is that we understand the spiritual aspect that we are up against. Spirits of death and bondage. Forces that would seek to kill, to steal, and to destroy. Forces that would seek to enslave us and keep us in bondage and subsequently break us and destroy us. Fight the good fight and keep the faith.

Here is a copy of my letter to the White House concerning this attempt at intimidation. I encourage everyone here to do the same to inform them we will not be intimidated nor silenced. "Misinformation? Excuse me, but apparently you have not read the bill. Everything you claim as misinformation is found explicitely in the House version of "your" healthcare reform bill!!!! Rather, this is nothing more than Chicago mob tactics and an attempt to suppress and intimidate free speech and political dissent."

Update on the story. The manager that made the decision to"donate" the money and services to this event has been "released" as of this morning, Home Depot has, or will very shortly offer an apology for this offense and infraction of corporate policy. Kudos to everyone that contacted their local store as well as district and corporate offices. We can make a difference.

I considered posting a "Special Bulletin" from Pastor Rick Joyner concerning the current health care bill. However, because it is so lengthy and I do not want to jam needed space, I will instead post the link. Glenn has been discussing for quite some time the correlation between the U.S. and the Weimark Republic. Well, Pastor Joyner has upped the ante and shows an even closer correlation to Nazi Germany and this particular bill. PLEASE, take time to read the entire article and the line by line details presented on the same page. After you have ripped your hair out of your head and rammed your fists through every wall in your house, print the article to take to your Congressman. Forward the article to all of your friends, and post these items in your community. We are at a dangerous crossroads and the consequences are dire. Get this into as many hands as possible. I will be making fliers and passing them out to as many families in my small town as I can get. I will also be presenting this to attendees to our city council members. I am reminded of the words of men like Samuel Adams, Ben Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson. Those that are willing to give up small portions of liberty in order to secure temporary safety are deserving of neither. All it takes is for a steadfast minority, of which we have many here, to keep the voices of liberty echoing throughout the land to eventually free the minds of men of the tyranny of entitlement. Bang the drum loudly and shout the truth from the hilltops. I believe we can indeed make a difference. We just have to be persistent and consistent in our message.

Concerning H.R. 1207 The question at hand is not the Grassley Amendment. No where in this letter did you state your support for against H.R. 1207. You continue to play partisan politics, and as such, I can only surmise you are against this bill. I am tired of your double-talk. You have not played it straight with us. As such, I have made it my duty to spend every day I have available seeking your demise and defeat in the upcoming election. Concerning H.R. 2454 Attn: Ruben Hinojosa I would like to start this letter by saying I am not only disappointed in your voting record, but I am disturbed by the supposed reasoning and “logic” behind those votes. Concerning HR 2454, you state that this bill will allow this nation to move forward with advancing clean and cost effective energy. However, I am led to believe that you did not even read the bill in question. I am led to further believe that “backroom deals” were made in order to guarantee the passage of this bill and I believe that you were involved. I say this because this bill does not advance energy policy one iota. In fact, this bill mandates California Housing standards on the entire nation. Result: escalating housing costs in new construction, remodeling, and energy efficiency upgrades. Furthermore, this bill will in effect, stifle, if not kill, the Texas Energy Industry. Result: Texas will see massive job losses in both the housing and energy industries. And to add fuel to the fire, ACORN, a defacto organized crime association, is allowed access to billions of Federal tax dollars. Either you are party to the betrayal of this nation, or are nothing more than a puppet for the Marxist / Progressive political and socio-economic agendas. Let me now move on to the carbon credit exchange. Two organizations stand to make billions off of this scam. General Electric / NBC, and Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs is locked in for a 10% stake in the con and G.E. has been using their ownership of NBC to propogate their propaganda across the airwaves as truth in order to guarantee they control the market share and profit billions off the backs of hard working Americans. In conclusion, this bill is nothing more than the Federal government overstepping their Constitutional authority and mandating huge sections of the U.S. economy be nationalized. The banking system is now under control of Federal bureaucracy, as is the auto industry and apparently the U.S. economy will be following suit soon. This is not the change that Americans voted for. You know it but have decided to follow suit. You are a coward and a fool. True American heroes stand for principles, values, and the upholding of the Constitution in the face of adversity. You have decided to shred it in front of us, all the while betraying all that the framers intended. The Ninth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.” The Tenth Amendment states further “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” You sir, and your colleagues have overstepped the constraints of the Constitution and have trampled “We The People,” and the rights of the states for far too long. You are banking on the fact that Americans have a short memory, but I am here to inform that we will not forget. We will remember and at least you sir, will be out of a job. You work for us, not the other way around. The Federal government works at the behest of the states, not the other way around. For far too long, Congress, the Supreme Court, and the President of the U.S. have viewed the states and the populace as subjects to the Fed. Our Constitution states otherwise and you will be held accountable. You are a disgrace to this district, the State of Texas, and the long line of Patriots that fought to ensure the liberties we have today. We will take them back, but you have proven you are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Why is it that when I call or write my Congressman I get 3 or 4 generic letters in response. And they are all the exact same letter. I would think 1 such letter would suffice to inform me that my input is not really wanted, but come on, 3 or 4, that seems like overkill. I am a husband and father of four, ages 16, 13, 11, and 8. It is my responsibility to ensure that they are filled with the knowledge they will need to succeed in life and create a lasting legacy. It is up to me to fill them with as much history as I get into them. It is up to me to teach and instill in them the values, morals, and principals I have followed for my entire life. It is up to me to bring them up in the love and admonition of the Lord. And these are all tasks that I do not take lightly. They are serious and of utmost importance if this nation is to survive to further generations as a freedom loving nation.

I just finished posting a reply over on vent and it really got me to thinking. I pose a question to all here. "WHY DO YOU BELIEVE 'WHAT AND HOW' YOU BELIEVE?" The reason for the question is this. 1. Are your beliefs deeper than just scratching the surface or are they the foundation upon what you have built your life? 2. Are you teaching your children the history of this nation (good and bad) and the principals and values that have made it the greatest nation on earth? 3. Are you sharing this information with your neighbors? 4. Are you willing to lose everything in order to see this nation preserved for future generations?

I have to agree with Trevr. It's kinda like the old cliche, keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. Not only must we know "WHY" we believe what and how we believe, but we must also understand the other side / our enemies. If we know why they believe what they do, we can more successfully defend the freedoms and liberties that have been bestowed upon us by our Creator and the framers of the Constitution. We all understand the point that they want to recreate this nation in "their" image. But digging deeper, we find the tools and methodology they wish to use to accomplish that task. Saying "that's just stupid," doesn't sell. A well thought out defense and subsequent historical and political attack will always put them on the run. They cannot deal with facts unless skewed, or the truth unless revisionist. Pounding them with facts and undeniable truth is how we will convince the American public of the dangers of our present course.

The term "messiah" is used quite often when referring to our current President. I am curious as to just how many people truly understand the magnitude of that comparison. Narcissist is easy for most people to understand, but a messiah / god complex, I believe goes beyond most people's ability to properly connect the man, his ideology, his, history... Read More, and his agenda. He is beyond a mere radical or community organizer. His purpose is to change the course of American history, forever altering its political landscape, as to make it impossible to ever reverse course or repair the damage that will be done. But at the same time, creating the world, or at least this nation in his "image!!!"
