You are certainly right there. It would make more sense to enforce the laws, deny felons income from their felonies, and make felons do hard time to earn their keep, which should be cheap. If patterns are seen, actions should be taken. Had they done that in Germany before WWII, hitler would be an unknown, the NAZIs never would have come to power(or would, at least, be more sedate), and Germany would be respected and liked. We wouldn't be talking about such garbage! The idea of nationism(Basically extreme patriotism), at it's base goal, or communism(Basically an altruistic collaborative community), is a good one. The problem is that NAZI germany(fascist) and Soviet russia(Oligarcy run in a fascist manner) were neither. It is a shame that they mangled the very MEANING of the words, just like gay(colorful and merry) has been mangled. People speak of learning from what happened like 60 years ago EVEN when it happened because they didn't learn from what has happened THOUSANDS of years ago! Similar things(EVEN a guy similar to hitler! Read ESTHER) are in the Bible!

You're right there! Technically, donors are REQUIRED to be made public and have to keep donations relatively low. Violation of that would make enforcement of the laws impossible! http://www.fec.gov/pages/brochures/contriblimits.... TECHNICALLY, your donors COULD be anonymous as long as ALL TOGETHER, they donated $2,400 or less. Even THOSE laws are stupid! I mean you COULD get classified as a campaign committee, and donate to the party, once the candidate for president is selected. That is tantamount to giving the money to the candidate, but has no limit.

They should pass a law that says that donation commitments must be made PRIOR to year 3, and paid AFTER year 4, with the ability to back out, and that excess be paid to the government! TOO MANY either campaign early, save, or pass laws at the last second! The whole deal is STUPID!

If he lived up to Clintons IMPLIED/STATED CLAIMS, I would be HAPPY to vote for him! I think he is a jerk, and would have spent half my disposable income to FIGHT him on the last election, if I thought it could make a dent. Anyway, WHAT were clintons IMPLIED/STATED claims? 1. Improve the environment(STATED) He really made things WORSE! 2. Improve solvency(STATED) He really made things WORSE! 3. Lower taxes(STATED) He really made things WORSE! 4. Lower "entitlements"(STATED) He really made things WORSE! 5. Improve education(STATED) Did he make ANY change? 6. Healthcare(STATED) Did he make ANY change? 7. Reduce earmarks(STATED) Did he make ANY change? 8. Reduce the net expenditures(STATED/IMPLIED) Did he make ANY change? He LATER CLAIMED to have saved $500 billion, but that was ACTUALLY announced during the previous presidents term, and smoke and mirrors. 9. Improve business(STATED) He actually made things FAR worse! And he went against the unions and his party to do it! INCREDIBLE! Then again, it helped a LOT of party/union constituents, so maybe the democrats/unions really WANTED it.

OH, don't worry about OBAMA! He probably got leno to pay a LOT for HIM, PERSONALLY! SURE, the $100K or so HE probably demanded was less than the MILLIONS it cost! SURE, we don't see a PENNY of it! SURE, he will keep the $400K and probably give HIMSELF a raise! Is he REALLY angry? NOPE! His pensions are enough for a lavish life style! His PAY is enough for a lavish lifestyle! SAME with graft, engagements, etc.... He can scream racism ALL HE WANTS! He is the EPITOME of the stupidity of such claims. Besides, nearly ALL of his competitors were WHITE! ALL of his competitors were FEMALE! A cry of sexism would be more deserved.
