I've had some skullcandys in the past and some other junk. Now i want quality, comfort, big ugly trendy phones at around $70 max and not too heavy. Wesc, sony, zumreed, and panasonic were the brands i was most interested in. I had this great image of wesc already in my head and needed to put a pair on, so i went to urban on 6th ave and tried some trendy phones out. Wesc Oboes were first, they were uncomfortable but the sound was decent, they also came in a variety of colors and prints, so a possible buy. I aslo found zumreeds there, sound not so great, feel like shit, looked ok, but not for me. Sony, not too much luck with what i wanted style and price wise. This one pair of phones caught my eye, the RP-HTX7 stereo headphones from Panasonic. Light wieght, feel amazing, look fantastic (a few colors available), and sound incredible all for around 60 bucks.The other plus is that everyone is going to have skullcandys and wesc on there head this season.
