Category A Calls - Those which are immediately life threatening - are allotted an 8min response, other calls are allotted a 19 min response time, or longer is they aren't actually urgent. The reason for FPOS was to have some training sooner rather than later, and because the course I'm doing it as part of is bundled with a load of other stuff which is useful like o2, epipens etc. I'm in the process of applying for the CFR thing, but my trust don't use FPOS for that, so it doesn't clash, and I can't actually go further in the ambo service than that. I have come up with a clever alternative though!
