I used the phrase 'dark fog covering America' ; the dark fog part was in a book I had just read and symbolized evil. I simply liked the imagery of a dark fog. I got called a racist by a black kid in my class, and hypocritical because I had mentioned the blatant racism of Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright. Later, though, my teacher and other classmates told me that they had thought nothing of the phrase. Anyway, I just don't understand why these people are so freaking sensitive about race and imagined attacks. Not to mention putting spin on words.
