When a media out let states disinformation as fact and they happen to be slanted in a westerly azimuth direction I would call that an agenda. Typical misrepresentation of the facts. If only the media would do a little research they would not continually look like an ass. The word anti aircraft machine gun and arsenal makes for a better story. The only plus to the story is that is a nice crew served weapon, vintage but nice.

The weapons being used are automatic weapons not semi autos which are sold in the U.S.. Automatic weapons are very hard to come buy here in the states and converter kits are harder to come buy. Most of these weapons are being smuggled from Central American countries or by sea, eluding U.S. and Mexican monitors who are focused on the smuggling of semi automatic and conventional weapons purchased from dealers in the U.S. border states. Alberto Islas, a security consultant who advises the Mexican government.says "There is an arms race between the cartels," These groups appear to be taking advantage of a robust global black market and porous borders, between Mexico and Guatemala. Some of the weapons are left over from the wars that the United States helped fight in Central America, U.S. officials have said.

You are wrong as far as the cartels getting their weapons primarily from the U.S. The weapon of choice for the cartels is the FN P90, a Belgian designed sub machine gun that fires 5.7x28mm round, that has been shown to be effective in penetrating body armor as well as vehicle doors and windows. Because of this ability to punch through body armor, cartel enforcers call the weapons “matapolicias,” Spanish for “cop killers.” This and the FN Five-Seven pistol are highly prized and sought after. Some weapons do make it across the border and some are exchanged through the military but a large majority are coming up from the south.

Even though there is honor in caring for the mentally disabled and elderly, do not fool your self in thinking that this compares to serving your country. Your very freedom rides on the backs of us who served, fought and died for our country. You have absolutely no way of knowing what it means to give yourself to your country through complete sacrifice.
