Voting for who you want in office is never throwing your vote away. If you are voting for the lesser of two evils, then you are throwing your vote away. I will vote for Sarah myself if she does run for president, But i will continue to vote my conscience in light of the terrible candidates both parties seem to be throwing our way. As I see it the two party system is broken, and i will continue to vote for the candidate that i think represents me the best weather he be republican, independent, or whatever else. And more and more the independent types are seeming like my kind of candidate. Personally, I thought Mitt Romney would have been the best republican candidate, and i am not a mormon. His economic experience would have been good for this country right about now. But everyone out east thought Huck a chuck would have been the better candidate for religious reasons and we all got Mcain instead. What a powerful ticket that could be: Romney/Palin or Palin/Romney either one holds extremely powerful possibilities.

masterliberal, yeah kinda like the conspiracy theorists on the other side of the isle who said that bush was the one that took down the towers on 9/11. I also wonder how you can feel safer when the obamanator is sucking up to all the nutjobs in the world. I personally would rather see a few terrorists waterboarded than a mushroom cloud over one of our major cities, which is rapidly becoming a very likely possibility given the way they basically gave north korea a free pass on the missle launches and nuclear tests, not to mention the fact he is removing funding from our missle defense systems. As for your constitutional abuse claims, the obamanator has done more to shred the constitution in the last 5 months with the bailouts, the way they treated the secured investors in the auto bankruptcies, setting executive pay, using mob tactics to force CEO's to resign, and this proposed cap and trade farce they are forcing on the american public, than many of the previous presidential administrations ever have, and in my opinion it does not scratch the surface of what they are doing that we do not hear about. also, why do you libs always bring up the fact that we supposedly hate him because he is black, the fact that he is black very rarely if ever gets mentioned when we are discussing him on this site or any other conservative/independent minded site, and if it does get mentioned, its usually a lib like yourself that does the mentioning by accusing everyone who disagrees with the presidents policies a racist. In my opinion it is people like yourself that use racism as a tool to stir the political pot and cause the dissent and divisions that so many of your party seem to like to use to "get things done". In my opinion if you guys would stop sprouting racism there would not be much of it left, because people in the center and the right don't seem to mention it much if at all.

I would also Like to mention That at the same time I bought my F150 my wife also purchased a ford focus and she has also had no issues with this vehicle other than the fact she hit something and knocked the passenger mirror off. I would challenge all the naysayers who say they will not buy american to take the time to go test drive some of these vehicles and make a decision based on what they see rather than what they have heard from other people or based on past experiences with american cars. Because based on what i see every day, a lot of the japanese cars and the high majority of used german cars my dealership sells as well, Ford quality meets or exceeds these cars. So i say before you go out and buy that next foreign vehicle, give the fords a look, you will be pleasantly surprised I promise you that.

I have to heartily disagree with you there, I bought a new Ford F150 last year and the quality is as good if not better than quite a few of the japanese vehicles. I know this to be true, because i work for an infiniti dealership in the parts department, and there are a couple of models with questionable quality and reliability. I see this every day in the parts i hand out to fix these cars. I could not be happier with the Ford i purchased and have had the vehicle for a year now and not had a single issue. Also for a truck, It rides very smooth and the interior of the vehicle looks very durable compared to the cheap stuff i see in these japanese cars. In almost every infiniti model the interior pieces scratch and chip very easily as most of them are painted or made out of cheap fake wood, and a lot of these issues are not warrantiable, because in a lot of cases the customers scratch them or break them themselves and nissan will not pick up the tab to replace them. A lot of these parts are very expensive to replace as well. This is also another reason why i chose to buy a ford is the parts are cheaper and more readily available than most of the foriegn cars. Even with my employee discount a lot of things would still be more expensive than an american counterpart.

I agree, Glenn You should contact all the names mentioned above and see if you can't get them to collaborate with the 912 project. It would do two things to help the cause. The first is it will increase our numbers, between Rush, Sean, and Glenn those are the top three conservative type radio programs in the nation if i am not mistaken. Second it would take all those numbers of like minded people and focus them in one place. If we are to be organized we need to have one place to go rather than 1000's.

Not only is it unamerican it is unexcusable. We should take the benefits for congressmen, senators, and yes the POTUS benefits before doing away with vetrans benefits. The vetrans are what made this country great. Vetrans should also be taken care of before anyone else. By this i mean before the homeless, the worthless, the illegal and the unfortunate. Its a crime against the citizens of this country that illegals get can get care but the vetrans are made to suffer.

The way i see it we are in the 21st century, let every bill be posted online and everyone that is or was a productive citizen of this society vote on it. that way we are choosing what we want to be implemented not some cheap suit that might only have his on self interests in mind. in this way we have transperency and everyone gets a say in how the law is made not just one person in our district, that gets one vote for everyone wether we like it or not. If we set it up right, we also insure that our representatives are working for us not themselves.

This is one of the main problems in this country seperating the truly needful from the freeloaders, I personally believe that many of the freeloaders stem from south of the border and if we enforce the immigration laws, a lot of these problems will clear up and we can then tend to our own in a much more efficient fashion. However there are also a lot of freeloaders in our society that need to be shown the right and wrong way of doing things. Don't get me wrong i have no issue with helping the disabled, the elderly, and the war vetrans. But there are a lot of people in our society today that need a good boot to the ass and told to support themselves. This includes the many "baby factories" we have on welfare today. some of these people just have more babies so they can get a bigger welfare check. That sort of thinking is what brought us to what we have today. We need to stand up to these sorts of people and behaviors and show them the employment line. If they are healthy enough to work they need to work. no exceptions.

i think we need to start out fresh and create our own party, one with the 9 principles and 12 values as it's figurehead. The constitution and libertarian parties have failed to win many elections. maybe we can convice all them to join our party. I believe we need to start anew to remake our country anew
