oh, my goodness, austinzipsoon! i bet it was so cool gettin' to check it out... in person! u'r so right about the close proximity of the other houses... google earth must've recently updated their map of rabb glen street, 'cause it shows the house now & not just the empty lot. &, i, too, would've chosen to sell the home, if possible... 'cause who could afford almost $500,000 in winners taxes & about $20,00 a year in property taxes? could be why one might choose to take the cash value... less trouble! ha, ha! thanks so much, for sharing ur adventure with us... so, on to the next one!

hey, my blog-peeps! hope ur day's been happy! u said that so well, "mcreash"... i know i'd be dancin' around, for about, forever! &, i believe u'r right about hearing something soon... i'm just guessin' here, but i'm pretty sure a local news crew will be @ the smart home tomorrow, or over the weekend, to report about austin's newest resident! i'm thinkin' someone will, @ least, announce the winner's name... but, maybe not their photo, until hgtv airs the smart home special in august.
me, too, stormy... but i guess, i'm having trouble letting go 'til i see the winner's face! ha, ha!
