Not bad stats for only working during the day. I called 1000 times for help at night from this unit. The night patrol officer told me Street Crimes only works 1 night a week. What a JOKE!!!!
WOW !! So sad of a story. I was just down there for a Country Concert with not one shooting.
There are numerous reasons why all the businesses left the area. Heck just look north three miles you will see Walmart, Meijers, Applebees, MCDS, Hacienda. cleaners, cell phone companies, INCLUDING A NEW LIBRARY ETC ETC... It's all the NEIGHBORHOODS Fault!!!! Dear City leaders keep doing the Liberal Thinking of blaming everybody else except for the area residents that messed up the entire Lincoln Way Strip!!!!!
Why did I not see a video press release at the South Bend Police Station?? Don't the city of South Bend have a drug unit? or did it cut because of budget cuts??
Give 1 week and Chief Boykins will have the officer standing proud in front of the Mayor's Appointed Review Board not for an award, but for his 60 day suspension. Support your police because the Chief does not!!!!!!!
Why do we only see Chief Boykins on TV when it comes to parrading his officers in front of the MAYOR'S BOARD??? He should spend more time on the Streets and not in the Mayor's Office.. I betcha that the Chief does not even live in CITY LIMITS!! --- Out of TOUCH with the crime ridden streets of South Bend... Hug-A-Thug-lets play tennis chief!!!!
Gee 5,000 attend M.D.A Motorcycle Ride every year with concerts and not 1 problem. 300 attend DA Bar with weekly problems... For some odd reason there is always a connection with problem bars in the area, Gee I wonder what the connection is??????

What a double standard... There has been a lot of arrests in the past 24 hours and WSBT has not posted 1 MUG SHOT!!! of any other arrested suspect...GEE no CHILD MOLESTERS, RAPIST, or ROBBERS... But that would not fit in the LIBERAL AGENDA OF WSBT!!!!! only that of a SBPD OFFICER!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK WSBT!!!! UNFAIR & UNBALANCED!!!
