This seems to verify my allegation that many people suspected that something was amiss between this teacher and the female students. Is it possible that behavior and language is so lewd at North Rowan that strong signals of flilrtation were just accepted as behavior as usual. How could this have escaped the attention of adminiistrators and other teachers? No, GQS, no matter how much a 18 year old student "comes on" to a teacher, who in their right mind would think that you could have s*xual relations with teenage girls over three dozen times and not get caught? What was he thinking? I cannot believe that he went 15 months before the truth came to light to the very rigid DORRIS MORRIS.
I find it hard to believe that this teacher carried on sexual relations with at least 3 teenage girls at North Rowan for over 15 months and no one knew. You cannot tell me that some students or fellow teachers did not notice some improper flirtantions or touching in the classroom. One sexual encounter occurred in an office! Asst. Superintdent DORRIS MORRIS pontificates about the rules and ethtics. Someone needs to ask her why she carries a big stick when it comes to subs who try really hard to maintain discipline and she dismisses them for no violations or she transfers a successful basketball coach at East Rowan for a trivial confrontation with a student, yet she nor any administrator notices anything wrong in 15 months of sexual encournters. I think that Ms. Morris should have to answer publically for this failure and not be covered up by some babble and nonsense in the Post.

Glenn Beck tells about Van Jones who is a Communist, Bill Ayers and his czar friends and all the Hate America crowd in the Obama administration. Olbermann and Madcow are defending ACORN and all their crimes. Obama and his crowd still continue to lie about using Medicare money to pay for "nationalized health care". Obama has announced that he will eliminate Medicare Advantage!!!! Mr. Schumacher is arrogant enough to lie about that when Obama has said that numerous times in speeches.

Many in the black community continue to back these thugs and blame the police. Why were the police called? If they had not been would this have resulted in the shooting of another innocent youngster walking in the neighborhood? The police lose either way. You are thowing out a lot of IF's, AND's and THEREFORE's. If she was not doing her job as you contend and the principal asked that she be removed from the call list, then she was to receive a DO NOT CALL notification from the county office. No one has documented that Mrs. Sturdivant was not doing her job. She requested that DORRIS MORRIS and County Superindentent discuss this with her. Are the actions of Ms. Morris, beyond question???
The point here, my friend, is that the sub has made calls and sent emails in an effort to find what the problem is. Mrs. Sturdivant is pointing out that DORRIS MORRIS as well as the Superintendent ignored her requests why she was being discriminated against.. Other subs have been treated similarly. Oh, and Ms. Dennis, SAMS is supposed to make the calls indiscriminately, RIGHT? If a teacher does not like a sub, should the sub not be told of this? If the sub was not doing an adequate job then why was she used for a year of more. Oh, yes, many teachers do n ot leave lesson plans.
A big hooray for Mrs. Sturdivant! Thank goodness that she is calling out the "gutless" actions of these high ranking county education officials towards substitutes. While the stated policy is that substitutes are appreciated and treated with dignity, at some schools, this is far from the truth as they are shunted aside and dismissed with no explanation even after extended times of service. "DORRIS" MORRIS feels that she is above giving any justification for her actions. The point about not responding to phone calls (AND emails) from subs is right on. Hope that "Artist4Life" is a county official or or Bd of Ed member. It is time this was has a light shining on it!

Excellent teacherw were being lost BEFORE the economic downturn! Certain people know why while others remain totally oblivious to what the real causes are including many of the leaders of the RSSS.
