Here is an idea I came upon while talking to my Mother about "assisted-living" arrangements. She would have to give up everything of value that she owns, and sell her house, plus give them her SS to afford to live in a place. So tell me this, why do we NOT take everything convicts have, sell it, and use the procedes to fund the prisons? Take their SS too. They won't be needing it behind bars. Just a thought......................
