I do not believe this couple was relying on anyone else. They are young. His parents are already gone and sometime it is just the facts. Please think before you sound off. Not everyone in the world it out for the all mighty dollar or too lazy to take care of themselves. Sometimes bad things happen to good people and the community should know; in hopes there is one chance that someone can make a difference. This man is going to die. She is going to lose her husband. They do not have the money to bury him. It costs upwards of over $1,000 just to open a grave to put him in the ground. I know (having a decent job) I couldn't bury my husband if something happened. Could you? I have a decent job which offers NO health insurance or life insurance. It's just the facts, that's all.
I am so sorry to hear this family is going through such difficult times. I am curious to know what cemetery the parents are buried at. Has anyone contacted the local funeral homes or the cemetery to set up pre-planning of sorts? There are a few "inexpensive" ways to say goodbye to your love ones and still have the funeral with class and respect. One place I've heard of is Michigan Cremation. I believe they can work with the cemetery of your choosing. For now, treasure every moment and know that love will live forever in your hearts.
