Dear Friends of Liberty, I am the Ky. State Coordinator for the We the People Congress. For the past 20 years, We the People has been filing law suits against the government for numerous un-constitutional laws and actions. Since 1995 they have served 18 different petitions (legal documents) for redress for grievances on 535 Congressmen, Presidents, Vice Presidents, and speakers of the house. They have totally ignored the People's petitions, and our right to have our petitions redressed, as specified in Amendment I, of the Constitution. The good news is, in November of this year, a Continental Congress will convene. We did it once in 1774, now it's time to do it again. Three delegates will be selected from each state to attend the Congress. Then they can use the necessary means afforded them by the Constitution to hold our servant government accountable for their crimes. The very good news is that under our Law, the People possess long-forgotten Rights to directly exercise Popular Sovereignty and hold the government accountable - all without the Judiciary, and without resorting to arms. American's are going to elect 3 delegates from each state to attend a continental congress, just as they did in 1774. Since 1995, American's have been petitioning the government for redress of grievances, just as the founding father's did with King George. The government has ignored the redress for grievances and so the people have called for another Continental Congress in 2009, only the second time in the history of the United States. Twenty-seven different organizations met last weekend, formed committees, and set the date for Nov. 9-24, 2009. Dear Patriots, The Continental Congress 2009 is off to an overwhelming start. The Jeckyll Island Project was a three day meeting held at Jeckyll Island, GA this past week, where representatives from twenty-five powerful liberty movements all came together in unanimous support of a Continental Congress in 2009. The date was set for November 9-24, 2009. The place is yet to be determined. Several places across the nation are being considered for this event. Some states already have delegates nominated and some do not. Three delegates will be chosen from each state, totaling 153 to represent the people of their state at the Continental Congress. The delegates will be elected by the citizens of each state. Please visit your state's website frequently for updates, to make a nomination, and later to cast your vote.
