Thanks for the reminder about other factors for "illegal immigration" - such as the 1993 NAFTA.......and unfair neoliberal economic practices. People forget (amenesia) too.....that Congressman Sensenbrenner - who tried to criminalize illegal immigrants in 2006...........also closed a large business he owned 50 miles south of the ARIZONA border. All those employees were faced with "going north" ..........50 miles.......or trying to grow tomatoes in the dessert south of that border....(can't be done)....

Like President Obama's Aunt Zeituni, my nephew is an "illegal alien". There is NO PATH to legality for my poor nephew.....he has already witnessed his two close friends die and be shipped back to their home country in caskets - chemical accidents due to NO PROTECTIONS at the job site.

Desperate people do desparate things.....as outlined in Mr. Sparapani's well thought out ACLU testimony before the House of Reps. Currently, my nephew has fled two states after watching "mass raids" on several work sites - where NO MUTUAL RESPECT existed for legal OR illegal workers!

I agree wholeheartedly with the ACLU and Timothy Sparapani's testimony opposing the creation of a "No Work" list.

The main point is that ....like the "infamous "No Fly list " - this "new list" will "impose unacceptable burdens onAmerica’s workers, businesses and society at large - - - without resolving
America’s undocumented immigration dilemma."
