The better formated your code is the better place you get in Google search results. Even I never expected theme code to impact the traffic so drastically but it just did. And ofcourse it is for self hosted wordpress websites.

it is for self hosted wordpress blogs. Even I never knew if changing theme could make such a huge difference but structured code does play a big role. If you code is broken then you will be pushed down in SERPs even when your website looks proper..
