I guess the thrill that ran up Matthews leg was really a flea. Isn't it funny that the left is only NOW starting to see how blatently incompetant Obama is? The american people have been seeing this for 3 years. Honestly Chris, you suddently don't like this big government any more?? And like the conservatives, are still looking for a leader??? Let's face it liberals, you have a "traveler" in command at the White House, He conned you all.

Well, I guess if you occupy a zoo long enough, you begin to act like the other animals. Makes me so proud to be an American!!! What must the world think of this country that we allow this kind of discusting behavior to go on in the name of protesting. How long will this insanity go on? And why is Obama condoning it?? I guess it's ok as long as it isn't on his lawn. They should be handing out "poop bags' and toilet paper. And this is in DC??? Wow, something is really wrong here.

Making light of both of these mental illnesses is discusting to say the least. It is not controllable by either family or drugs. The drugs are so strong it puts the patient into a condition where they can't think or participate in life and sometimes just causes them to drop out because it is just so exhausting to try to stay balanced. Without the drugs, the mind goes in so many different directions at once it is hard for the person to sort everything out so it makes sense to them and they act out just trying to control their world. It is hell for the person, it is hell for the loved ones.

God works in mysterious ways. I'd advise him to not stand under a tree in a lightning storm. His demise might come sooner than the cancer can claim him. I have a feeling he will reach for that rosary and call for a priest in the near future. Even unbelievers suddenly believe when they realize how powerless they really are and find they are not immortal. He's just another speck of sand in the desert of life.

No, but we don't need to sit around in a think tank all the time, in our own heads, and make up theories why people do what they do. I lived in the 40's, and believe me, the young people today are so much smarter and informed about the "whole world" and not just their back yards. We all have choices. My particular choice is to gather as much information as my mind will hold and think about it all later, when my world slows down enough to do so efficiently. Apparently the author of this article can't dicipline himself enough to do that by himself...

Never in the history of the world has there been so much information available to so many people all at the same time. Trying to assimilate it all at one time would be impossible, but it keeps our minds from becoming stagnate. And I love it that our children can know so much and learn so fast about the world and other people in it. This Mr. Carr wants to live in yesterday. As we grow older our minds automatically slow down. There is plenty of time to cogigate and contimplate when we are too old to participate.

If heaven is a fairy tale, what a grand tale it is!! Look up Stephen--all that you see is so much grander than anything you can imagine, even with that spectacular brain of yours. There is order in the chaos of the Universe. If it all started with a big bang-who struck the match?? The first piece of matter and non matter had to come from somewhere. There are so many things that can't be explained with numbers and reason. What was the force behind the "big bang"? Too many questions, not enough answers to believe this is all there is...........

In the words of Ayn Rand regarding Human Nature: "Man is a rational being. Reason, as man's only means of knowledge, is his basic means of survival. But the exercise of reason depends on each individual's choice. "Man is a being of volitional consciousness, that which you call your soul, or spirit, is your consciousness, and that which you call "free will" is your mind's freedom to think or not, the only will you have, your only freedom, that is, the choice that controls all the choices you make and determines your life and character. Thus, Objectivism rejects any form of determinism, the belief that man is a victim of forces beyond his control, such as God, fate, upbringing, genes, or economic conditions." She simply believed we are the "Captains of our Fate", and responsible for our own lives, whatever it turns out to be. Whether it be man or woman. Some are smarter than others, but it is the responsibility of the not so smart ones, to be the best they can be, and the poor, to find ways to dig themselves out of poverty and the rich, to get richer if they can, so they can reach out and help others, because they want to, not because the Government says they must. But we have become an entitlement society, and the more that is given by the rich, the more that is taken by the masses who feel it is their right to share that wealth, whether they deserve it or not, worked for it or not and feel no shame in accepting it. "Need is the mother of invention". When nobody needs anything any more because it is given to them, nobody will get off their lazy butts and work for a better world. Why should they?? And those who do, are chastised and beaten down and if they should become wealthy because of their own inventiveness, Big Government is always there to take it and give it away to others. No society can survive this way.

The essentials of Objectivism, as quoted by Rand herself are as follows: Objective Reality= Nature, to be commanded, must be obeyed, Reason= You can't have your cake and eat it too, Self Interest=Man is an end in himself and Capitalism=Give me liberty or give me death! It has nothing to do with selfishness, or ego- Those who get rich, give more to the poor and give more of themselves because they feel it is expected of them. She left Russia when she saw the results of Socialism, and never went back and chose to write about what happens when BIG BROTHER takes over how power corrupts and entitlements cause society to become lazy and unproductive and unimaginative when everything is handed to them by Government. When you see the film, it gives you a better understanding how society can be manipulated into complacency and wake up one day desolate. It has nothing to do with today's Tea Party except for the belief that It is the people who are ultimately responsibile for their own fate, not the government.

What if?? He had to look at an anti-Obama banner. Would it hurt his feelings??Who will be allowed to hear his speech? Only those who do not have eggs in their pockets? Maybe he really thought the world loves him. Please, doesn't any other country want him?? Please-no charge, we'll give him away and throw in a new iphone!!
