I am refusing to fill out the census that is being taken by ACORN. The constitution specifies that the government needs to know how many people in the household. They don't need to know where you work, how much you make (all that information can be found on your tax return that the IRS gets), what type of fuel to heat your house, how far you travel to work, what time do you leave (that is so they know when they can rob your home), and the list goes on. I am writing a letter to my senators and representative and I will also send a copy ot Obama. I feel that this is an invasion of privacy and with all the illegal acts ACORN provided during the election why would I want them to have access to my private information? We need to stick together on this and show the government that we don't agree with ACORN being involved in the census of the US. If they show up at my house I plan on asking them questions about the operation of ACORN and asking just what they are doing with all my tax money besides supporting Obama. I want them to prove they are a legal citizen of this country (why should they be taking a paid position if they aren't a legal citizen?).

My mother had a massive stroke in February and was in the hospital for a week before she passed away. We got the final bill from the hospital and the total bill was $60,000. The insurance company paid $17,000 after adjustments. Does this mean that if someone didn't have insurance they would have to pay $60,000? I think this is a joke. My mother had medicare but also was paying $109 a month for private insurance because medicare didn't cover enough. I spoke with my doctor last week and she told me that the top CEO's from the top insurance companies are the ones who run medicare. So whether it is the government or the insurance companies running medicare we are in trouble. Neither one of them can run a business. We need someone who has a viable plan that we can push congress to at least review. It is funny that the minute the insurance companies think they could be put out of business they can cut their prices. Why not just cut them? They are making plenty of money off of us.

The Senate Judiciary Immigration Subcommittee had a hearing yesterday. The Senators have made it clear that the only thing that will stop the Senate from passing an amnesty for illegal foreign workers this year is if regular citizens mount immediate and sustained protests. Everyone needs to call their Senators and tell them not to vote for amnesty. During the hearing nothing was even mentioned about the 13 million unemployed US workers. The Senators think that the American people will let them pass the amnesty bill that was blocked in 2007. They seem to really think we have become resigned to amnesty for illegals.

You know that Biden wouldn't be there without a mask. What gives the government the right to tell these people that they can't do anything to prevent them from getting sick. If I was one of the border patrol agents and did get the swine flu I would be hiring a lawyer to sue the government.

I know that closing the border now won't stop it from spreading. We should have closed the border between Texas and Mexico a long time ago. I am in no way against a black president but he is not presidential material. In many ways he is still too childish and in other ways I feel like he is mainly concerned with the advancement of all black people. I think that the average white American wanting to go to college is going to have a hard time obtaining student loans. I hope he proves me wrong but just seeing the people he is nominating is scary. They are all either Anti-christ, Anti-life, Anti-white and if that isn't enough they are farther left then he is. This week the Senate Judiciary Committee will meet to confirm Judge David Hamilton. Your reply gave me a chill. Bringing back the memories of that day. I didn't have friends or relatives in the towers or any of the planes and can't even begin to imagine how anyone felt. I went to ground zero and seeing the area on tv and then seeing it right in front of you is so different. I was there 6 years after and as we were walking away saw two officers with a search dog. What a feeling to think after all those years and they were still searching for remains. And now our administration wants someone to pay for the interrogation techniques that were used on these terrorists. It is just beyond words to try and describe the disgrace I feel for this administration. I didn't agree with a lot of what Bush did but I do understand that right or wrong he was doing what he thought was needed to protect us. We didn't have another attack on our soil or any embassies or ships so did he do the right thing? I also think that Obama is heading down a dangerous path and he is letting everyone know that no matter what they do to us we will do nothing to them.

I called Sen Leahy's office this morning and left a message. I told him that this Truth Commission would be great if we had anyone in Washington who could tell the truth. I also said that if he thinks what Bush's administration did was possibly criminal than I assume he isn't for amnesty because they are breaking the law.

Michelle McPhee on WTKK said that a call was made to the Mayor's office but they only talked to an aide and he was told not to say anything. She said a NY police told her. I do believe that Obama knew what was going on. I am not sure I could believe that someone called the Mayor's office and talked to an aide. Like everything else Obama did it because he is president and he can do it.
