...continued I think these people are few and far between, but people do exist who get into the military not because they want to serve, but because they want the military to pay for their schooling, and their benefits, and the opportunity to travel the country and the world. I LOVE OUR SERVICE MEN & WOMEN, but I say this, if you are in the military, but have no interest in defending our country, then please, do yourself and all of your military brethren a favor, and take your dishonorable discharge, do your time, and go home!

Part 1... I gotta say, his words may have been a little harsh, but I agree 100% with what Glenn said about some of the families of 9/11 victims. Notice he said there's only about 10 of them that he doesn't like. 10. That's it. Out of near 4,000 victims, and Lord knows how many relatives of those victims. The same thing goes for people like Cindy Sheehan whose son was honorable enough to die serving his country and for the last how many years his mother has been out there giving him a bad name. To people like her all I have to say is this; It is a volunteer military, if your son died while serving then he died honorably, but if you're pissed off because he died fighting a war that he didn't want to be fighting, then to me that means he was only in the military because he wanted something for nothing...continued

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know about the truly inspiring conversation I just had with a high school student. I live in a very liberal county in Iowa and felt like this message board was my only connection to the "sane" world. I posted 5 people that I wish I could forget on my Facebook page (Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Timothy Geithner, Ben Bernanke, and Chris Dodd) and this young man that I work with commented that he liked the list. I proceeded to have a pretty in depth conversation with him about the subject of the 9/12 Project, and how his father was the one that helped educate him to this line of thinking (it certaily isn't the public schools). Then the kid blew my mind! He said that he knew of at least 20 others in his school that have had the same upbringing and have the same views as us! Aside from March 13, when Glenn aired the 9/12 special, this is the most inspired I have been. I'm very excited about getting the youth involved in the 9/12 project. If they (the liberals) don't have the youth, they have nothing! I'm so excited!

What was his response to this? "...On the Federal issues that you bring up, I really don't spend a lot of time worrying about them...which may not be right, but I have more than a cup full just trying to stay on top of State issues. I have recently been in contact with a State Senator here in Iowa. He actually contacted me as I responded to a survey that he sent out with my address in the comment section asking him to contact me in regards to bringing common sense back to the Iowa General Assembly. I told him how I didn't like the notion that Governor Culver had proposed at one point to print Government paperwork and applications in both Spanish and English (doubling the current cost of the already wasteful paperwork) in order to make the Mexican population (legal or illegal) in Iowa feel more comfortable. His response to this was; "...why would you stop with Spanish. I have heard that there are 40+ different languages spoken in the Des Moines schools. So...why wouldn't we have 40+ different versions?" In other words this guy would propose increasing spending in this area by 40x! Unreal! I replied and told him RESPECTFULLY that there are millions of green-backed, dead president reasons not to support this. If these people are in our country legally, then they should have no problem speaking our language at least well enough to try to get our help getting on their feet. Continued...

I think that people are over-valuing the media for the purpose of this event. This event, at least in my eyes, is not for media coverage. This event is about action. We will stand at the Capital and wait for the arrival of Congress, present them with a final chance from "We The People" to return our Republic to its glory by repealing such resolutions that move us toward socialism, the G.I.V.E. Act for example, and many others that are moving us away from Capitalism and towards Marxism. The brilliance of this event is the fact that it needs not media coverage only participation by "We The People"

I respectfully disagree. We are already seeing some moderate Democrats go against President Obama, and the far-left Democrats aren't happy with OUR President because he is too moderate. It seems as though he may have a harder time than we anticipate getting things passed. The one thing that will never change is the fact that "We The People" are their supervisors, and we need to get back to doing just that, supervising. They've run away with our country, and the bottom line is (this will not go over well) McCain or Obama, Republicans or Democrats, we would gravitate further toward the Socialist side of the political chart.
