I said from the beginning that this venture is a massive chemistry experiment- and for the sake of Gainey and for Montreal, I hope it works out. I think the rivalry is unfortunate, and the bad blood between these two teams should be forgotten. I like the Hurricanes, and I personally have no problem cheering for them (except when it inconveniences Buffalo). Let the past go. And hey- they knocked out the Bruins, and that always a plus.
