Joe- you are a fool. Delgado and Beltran are busting their butts. While the team looks bad right now, you're way off base with Beltran and Delgado.

The start to the season isn't looking too good. I mean, we're far from a hole, but Pelfrey hasn't looked great, Perez is Perez, and stupid errors are making us look very much like an 85 win team.

I don't think we're a laughing stock, but I do think that this start is looking really bad. Our rotation (Santana excluded) is looking questionable. Two horrible, horrible errors have been extremely costly.

I like how we're looking overall.

Positives:
- Wright, Reyes, Beltran, Johan are awesome.
- Delgado is looking like he's going to pick up where he left the second half off last year.
- Sheffield could be a factor.
- K-Rod/Putz will be a great 1-2 in the pen.
- Maine should be decent.
- Church was coming into his own before the repeat concussion last year.
- Murphy looks like a solid hit for average guy with great hustle.
- Pelfrey could develop into a solid #2.

Negatives:
- Pelfrey coming off the most innings he's ever pitched could create a liability.
- Perez is frustrating (as always).
- Schneider/Castillo are below average at their positions.
- #5 spot is scary.
- Manuel is borderline senile.
- Church has ? after the concussions.

Overall though, those positives greatly outweigh those negatives. Here's to Monday!!!

Ollie looks horrible. Not hitting the strike zone is just part of his game. Not having the velocity and looking hittable when he's "on top" of his game is new. I didn't like the idea of re-signing him, but I hope he can turn this around and prove me wrong.
