and because we thought they were men of their words (or Etas for that matter). I'll tell you though anybody can mess up, me the first, but at least I have the courtesy of admitting and warning people as soon as I know... that's called accountability and it has nothing to do with whether I'm doing whatever I'm doing out of charity or not...

Hi MN :) first I've been meaning to thank you guys for YellowSnow I've been a happy camper since day one :) I tried creating a custom using 3.0 in pwnage tool but it tells me that the firmware is incorrect.. is this .. normal ? second, while I think that apple as a database with the serial numbers of all the iphones that are unlocked, and that when you plug your phone onto itunes it matches its SN with that list providing the phone with an unlock . now isn't there either a way to modify the serial of the phone so that it fits that of an unlocked one, or to make itunes believe that another phone is plugged so that it provides your locked phone with unlock?

Hello Dev Team, first of all thanks a lot for your yellowSn0w I've been using it flawlessly from day one, and I'm very grateful. You guys have been pretty quiet for a month now (and I think I know why, I was there on jan 1rst); but I was wondering if you guys had an sort of clue as to how to either downgrade of trick the new baseband in any way ? a good friend of mine is screwed because of this and so I'm sure it would feel good to know that all hopes are not lost :) Also I've noticed that the serial number of the iphone is compared to an appledatabase and when this one is known as unlocked something happens in Itunes that unlocks it. Any clue on how it works ? coz I'm thinking there might be something there no ? All the best to you guys.

Finally Works with VIRGIN FRANCE , shows ORANGE as provider (which is normal since Virgin uses ORANGE network) , I disabled 3G and roaming, tried a zillion times to reboot, reinstall yellowsnow via installer or Cydia, eventually, got rid of the sim code, nothing worked. Until I reinstalled once more, rebooted, showed only the dots for 10 mins, I took out the sim, put it back => Showed Invalid simcard (once again ) and disappeared and showed ORANGE.. Honest to god, no idea what I did. But Thanks a bunch you guys !! you rock. I just wanna say for the records that New Year's eve (the target release date), is december 31th not january 1rst at 12h01AM.. anyway bygones !! Thanks a lot guys, you rocked my world ;)
