<title>GeekTyrant : Movie Review: PUBLIC ENEMIES</title>
<link>http://geektyrant.com/2009/07/movie-review-public-enemies/#IDComment27004481</link>
<description>I enjoyed Public Enemies. I didn&amp;#039;t like it as much as I hoped I would, but it&amp;#039;s still better than most of the new movies I&amp;#039;ve seen recently. I thought Johnny Depp&amp;#039;s performance was great. I found the way the gunfights were done quite interesting. There was usually no background music, making the gunshots and shattering glass sound really loud. It felt more frantic and realistic than I&amp;#039;m used to, which I appreciated. If only Public Enemies had included some of the things that made John Dillinger and his bank robberies so interesting... it had a lot of missed opportunities that left me disappointed at the end of the film. I&amp;#039;d still recommend it, but I&amp;#039;d warn people that it has nowhere near as many bank robberies as you&amp;#039;d expect from the trailers. </description>
