That's cool that it "captivated" you. I just couldn't get over the many flaws that I personally found with the film to enjoy it. I'm curious what exactly did you find captivating about the film? Maybe it will help me appreciate the film more.

It's interesting you compare Revenge of the Fallen to Bad Boys 2. I can definitely see the similarities. It seems with both sequels Bay was trying to out do what he did with the originals. Only Bay already pushes the limit of over-the-top dramatic action with the original films that when he tries to do more with the sequels, the end result is just too much. Bad Boys 2 is my least favorite Bay film, but Revenge of the Fallen isn't that far behind.

Just for fun, I will now rank Michael Bay's film, in order of best to work, for me personally:
1. The Rock
2. Bad Boys
3. Transformers
4. Armageddon
5. The Island
6. Pearl Harbor
7. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
8. Bay Boys II

I consider the first four to be solid entertainment, the last 4 range from mediocre to painful.

Just finished this book last week, and from the trailer it looks pretty faithful. The book is very cool, so with Scorsese, Leo, and co. doing it, I can't imagine Shutter Island won't at least be good. I know your reference Chase, and I love you even more because of it.

Yeah, the movie is awesome.
Chase- yeah, I'm creepy. I thought you would know that, but I guess my trap stamp that spells creepy in French is hard to see when you only have the light of one noble candle.
Lauren- I don't hate gifts, so I think we can make something work. very excited.
