Those who are military retirees know that the pay they receive is NOT retirement pay. It is "delayed compensation" and "retainer pay". It makes up for the low pay you got while on duty and once you go the 20 good years, you are in the military forever, and subject to recall. A military career is diferent from other jobs. How many jobs ask you to lay down your life with a single one word command, "charge!" Where life and death are part of the strategy for winning. These political buffoons in DC don't know what they are talking about.

If you want advanced warning of these rocks, see www.spaceweather.com. Previous posters, Tunguska was very recently investigated thoroughly and they do know what exploded there. They did find buried fragments. You seem to be relying on old news to state no one knows. There was a rock similar to this one that hit the middle east last year. blew up in the upper atmosphere.
