Doug,

We were wondering the same thing. QR codes are an open format and free of license, so they couldn't patent that, and you can't pantent a website, so did they get a patent on the "idea" of linking a offline QR code to a memorial site?

Right on Chuck! Thanks for te comment. I couldn't agree with you more. Where service is needed for a product then price is much less relevant.

Perfectly put Garrett. Not every funeral home is the same and not every market is the same. Cookie-cutter will not work.

Thank you for your great insight and comments.

Chris,

No bashing of competitors, just trying to lead funeral professionals down the right social media path.

We are a progressive industry publication, not just focused on "news"

Thank you for reading and providing feedback.

Colin,

Thank for the reply. You are right on the money, part of creating a social media strategy for a funeral home IS changing the marketing mindset. It is so fun to watch the change when we work with our clients, it is like a light bulb suddenly turns on. It is really amazing when you see the social media mindset and way of think overflow into their tradition marketing, and provided services.

The consumer is rapidly changing and it is exciting to be able to work with funeral professionals who want to embrace that change.

Thank you for your comments and interaction!
