Big Journalism : Academia-Gate: Ethically and Legally, 'Cry Wolf' Project Cries Out For Investigation

Too many kids leave their faith upon entering college only to return when they have kids of their own. This is due to the anti-constitution views of radical university cultures that use fear and intimidation to oppress young Christian men and women. They do not, incidentally appear to be using the same tactics on Muslims - and they should not, but the double standard of attacking Christian students while giving a pass to people who want to impose Sharia law on us gives me pause. The best way to get these professors is in court and the best way to get these universities to allow intellectual courage without consequence is to get them in their pocket books.

Part I of II Here's a thought. Many of my friends have kids in college who are openly ridiculed in class by professors for being Christians, believing in Jesus Christ, eternal life, the resurrection, etc. The professors at universities, including but not limited to Oklahoma State University and OU, ask students around the first day of school if there are any Christians in class and then attack them and embarrass them in front of their peers. I would like more undergrads and grad students to secretly record these professors, publish the recordings on YouTube, and get Christian lawyers to file suits against these schools to take away their tax exempt status.

Big Hollywood : The Lambert Files: Middle America Once Again Proves Its Inability to Be Hip

I used to like award shows - as sort of a guilty pleasure. Then they became forums for the uneducated, overpaid hollywood actors and actresses to dis America and all people and things conservative; they use the shows to promote their causes. While some are great causes, they do not belong on awards shows. Just entertain us, give a nice acceptance speech, and exit stage left! I stopped watching the Oscars when "Saving Private Ryan," the quinessential story about the men who saved the world, was passed over for Best Picture in favor of "Shakespeare in Love" a silly story about what else? actors. Yep they passed over the greatest generation in favor of themselves. There is not a more egomaniacal, slef-righteous group than the 8th grade educated lefties in Hollywood who somehow think they are smarter than flyover country.

Big Hollywood : 'Law & Order' Jumps the Shark

Law and Order has been my favorite show for years. That is until this episode. I turned it off as soon as I realized what was happening. It is off my "TIVO" list and has now joined the ranks of any show or movie with Alec Baldwin, Jane Fonda, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and even "Heroes" thanks to bad writing and Hayden Panetieri's profane rant about John McCain on youtube. Those ranks are a few of the hollywood knuckleheads I refuse to watch under any circumstances. I wonder if the cast and producers of L&O have bumper stickers asking "Have you hugged the enemy today?" The leftist America hating traitors of Hollywood . . .

Big Hollywood : The Force is With Sarah Palin

No doubt this is Mr. Schlichter's best so far. I posted this on my Facebook page like I do with most of his articles. If Obama had chosen a pro-abortion female Democrat Governor who was the mother of five with an autistic son and a pregnant teen daughter, she would have been portrayed by the state run media as compassionate, just like you and me, and the very model of the successful American woman. But they got Sarah: a pro-life, female Republican Governor who is the mother of five with an autistic son and a pregnant teenage daughter. The left does not want conservative Republican women to be successful out of fear that more little girls will want to be more like Sarah and less like Hillary Clinton or Rosie O'Donnell. Sarah did not go to an Ivy league school; she supports the second amendment, has her own business, is a Christian, pro military, supply side economist, supports the troops for real not just through platitudes, believes in small government, big stick diplomacy, energy independence, lower taxes, balancing the federal budget, cutting spending, term limits, why it’s almost as if she's not like them at all, she’s (GASP!) like me and maybe you too!!!

Big Hollywood : The Ghost of Johnny Carson

The real lesson taught to Republicans by Sarah in this situation is that Republicans do not have to take it; you can fight back in clear, direct terms put liberal radical nutcases like Letterman on the defense. For 8 years the Bush administration just assumed a fetal position and let the left wing beat on us without consequence. To paraphrase the fictitious Howard Beale "Sarah's mad as hell and she's not going to take it anymore." Palin in '12!

Big Hollywood : Thoughts on the Don Henley Lawsuit

Then when you get in there, maybe you can force the Cal Guard to stop stealing money meant for Camp Roberts and using it to put their fellow colonels and generals on the state payroll! They are taking money designated by congress to train soldiers for war and using it for personal gain. I hope you have the balls to stop this practice. I suspect you do. Also, maybe you can force them to start making combat veterans federally recognized colonels and generals, particularly in the full time force. Not one Vietnam veteran with a CIB made federally recognized Brigadier or higher. The guys who joined the Guard to avoid Vietnam insured it. It appears this generation of Iraq and Afghanistan Cal Guard veterans are going to meet the same fate at the hands of the Headquarters weenies who have not deployed, and have avoided deployment rather carefully with the blessing of the current TAG and his fellow Vietnam draft dodgers.

LtCol Devore, This is a frivolous law suit. Please do not screw this campaign up. Boxer is an extremist who kills babies, hates the military, thinks veterans are psychotic welfare recipients, and she detests honest work, success, and people who create jobs. She is not good for California. Please take her to task for her record on guns and the military. Remember when she wanted to eliminate military bands?

Perhaps you could move to Cambodia or Vietnam and renounce your citizenship here. Go where you think good is. I will stay here with LtCol Schlichter and if needed help him protect America, and you. The communists are bad. The Americans are good. It is that simple.

Today's veteran- haters are more sophisticated in hiding their real feelings of "loathing the military" (To quote Bill Clinton) for political expedience, briefly pretending to respect the men and women of the Armed Forces during elections, then returning to form between. The exception perhaps being John Kerry, who accused his fellow Vietnam veterans of terrorizing the Vietnamese people in a manner “reminsicient of Ghengis Kahn.” Later the Senator accused my fellow Iraq veterans and me of “terrorizing Iraqi families in the dead of night,” Finally he killed all chances of another run for the white House when he said “if you do not get an education you end up in Iraq.” These are Hollywood’s heroes. LTC Schlichter and his troopers of the 1/18th Cavalry are mine. Just as Washington liberals retry failed socialist policies over and over, Hollywood liberals will retry failed liberal box office flops. If one listens closely you can hear them saying “This plan is too brilliant to fail again!”

As the Commander of Chapter 568, Oklahoma City, of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, an Iraq Veteran, and one of LTC Schlichter’s former colleagues, I find Hollywood to be almost as deviant as the Taliban says they are and almost America-hating as Sean Hannity says they are. We should be logging all the Hollywood television shows – “Lie to Me” (the premier episode featured an Army Sergeant in Iraq who raped a fellow soldier), “Law and Order”, CSI, “without a Trace,”etc, that constantly portray our returning veterans as the villain - a rapist, crazed killer, or chronically unemployed psycho unable to readjust to civilian life. In the Hollywood liberal’s mind, these are the average military veterans. That is what Democrats and liberals really think of military personnel anyway. At least during Vietnam, they did not hide it.

Big Hollywood : Sao Paolo, Taxifornia

Did I mention California’s schools? Holy smokes! Atheists, molesters, rapists, and functional illiterates in the classrooms and worse, Democrats - wait – that’s redundant. Then there are the civil servant unions in CA. They need to lobby for higher taxes in order to get bigger government so they can increase the size of their unions in order to lobby for higher taxes in order to get bigger government so they can increase the size of their unions . . . and the cycle continues. Voters deserve the stinking cesspool of moral decay that is “Kaw-lee-forn-yah.”

Their DMV is a national joke - every state I have been stationed in just groans when they have to deal with CA's DMV. Their National Guard Generals are known for corruption - using money designated to train soldiers and maintain training facilities to fund state jobs for themselves and their cronies. The Governors keep appointing draft dodging cowardly senior citizens who joined the guard to avoid Vietnam to lead men and women who are going in harm’s way every day. The troops need a commanding general who has been in combat. I became a Virginia resident in the early 1990s. Retired in Oklahoma, and became a resident here. Own a 3000 square foot home on 2 acres in a gated community. Paid 350 in 2006. I don’t have the ocean ten hours away like it was in CA – oh wait . . . yes I do. It’s called Texas. No earthquakes, fires, floods, mudslides or riots. I see CA has tornadoes now too, so Oklahoma’s tornadoes are not a concern and rarely touch the ground, like they did in CA last year in Riverside.

CA is a horrible place to live, and the voters deserve it because they keep voting for it. I was born and raised in CA. Went back and forth during my military career & even got stationed there. Left in 2006 when I retired from the Army. The taxes are too high; the state is controlled by two voting blocks: People who are dependent on government and sexual deviants; the socialists including Arnold are destroying it. CA has had a net loss in population for over a decade. Real estate is a joke - overpriced in the worst locations. The only thing good about CA is the weather and that is not worth the money. The last real Republican Governor of California was George Deukmejian.
