You are correct. There are some that are so angry that they lose focus when someone makes a argumentative post. We need to ignore these and stop arguing amonst ourselves. As for what to do. Personally, I have been writing every congress person. Telling them "No More". No More bailouts, lobbyists, spending, power. I've been to one tea party and plan to go to more. Stand up, speak out. I have my views on my facebook page for all of my friends to see. I talk to my children, my neighbors trying to get them involved also. Everyone is scared, but some still don't think we can make a difference. I disagree. The more people we have that get involved, the bigger difference we can make. I believe all the tea parties on April 15 are one example. We need to spread the word and get everyone to attend.

This is so true and so much of the reason we are all crisis today. Take Madoff just as an example. There were exisitng laws and regulations, someone even pointed him out directly and our GOVERNMENT did nothing!!! Nothing!!! We don't need more laws and regulations (we need less actually) enforce the ones on the books. Those in the government now say they want to stick their nose into just about every business. How bout we start at the top with the Government....Congress, Senate, The Fed, The Treasury.

I agree, I wish there was a way. These are the exact people who have caused all of this mess. It happened on their watch. Just the thought of making banks lend to people who don't have the means to pay it back is so insane it makes me crazy!! I would love to hear ideas and thoughts on these two criminals.

Exactly. Those that don't believe in term limits, in my opinion, don't understand that these people of conngress and the senate have no reality. They vote on their own raises, they have their insurance paid for, they don't have to worry about their pension. Only until they are faced with REALITY and having to live in the real world like the rest of us will they understand the problems and issues of this county. 93% of us did not want the stimulus package passed and they did it anyway! Why is that?

You are correct SurroundSound. We need a voice now. As for how we get one, I'm not positive, but pages like this help. I have also put my views on my facebook page. I talk about this insanity every chance I get. I have emailed and written letters to my congressmen, senators and governor. There are many more out there that feel the way we do, we have to get every one of them involved. 93% of americans did not want this stimulus package to pass, that a lot of people. We have to keep our focus and you are correct that both sides are corrupt!!

I could not believe it when I saw this on GB. I think I was in shock for a few hours. All those that are screaming the loudest are those that caused this. Barney Frank needs to step down! Chris Dodd needs to step down! Tim Geithner needs to step down. The president needs to get off the camera and get down to work. I believe this country is in more trouble (caused by government) than we even know. Keep writing everyone in Congress and the Senate, make sure they understand that "We the People" say enough is enough. Stop the wasteful spending and the finger pointing. We all know who's fault this is, now fix it!!!
