Breitbart.com : Music Review: Van Halen ageless on new album

Agree with this review....Blood & Fire is a sure hit and there are several really heavy rocking tunes, ala Fair Warning. Good guitar work, excellent drums as usual and all in a raw rock style with no keyboards to speak of. Well done and very welcome rock CD in today's sadly hip-hop and pop-rock driven soft-around-the-edges music scene.

Well that's awkward, Obama put Kodak CEO Antonio Perez on his infamous jobs council in Feb 2011. I guess the jobs council isn't getting much done if its CEO's are declaring bankruptcy.

Romney is the only moderate candidate...and what bugs Conservatives about Romney is precisely what Independents like about him and why he'll get a much higher % of their vote in the general election. If Newt or Santorum were nominated, Conservatives would be happier but Independents that think gay marriage is fine or that contraception is ok, they'll either not show up to vote for a Santorum or vote for Obama, probably more the former than the latter....and either would result in 4 more years of Obamadum.

I'm against State or Federal level mandates of any kind, I don't even like that 49 states mandate/require automobile liability insurance be purchased. But the key difference between Obamacare and Romneycare is that one is an unconstitutional Federal mandate to purchase something and one is a State-level mandate to purchase coverage which is legal and supported by most citizens in the very very liberal Democratic state of Massachusetts. It's really apples and oranges, and Romney has said repeatedly that Obama's federal mandate is unconstitutional and something he'll repeal on his first day in office if the Supreme Court doesn't deem it unconstitutional this summer. Romney couldn't be clearer and the distinction between Federal and State level mandates (such as auto insurance) cannot be clearer. It's not called the United States for nothing....States rights are critical, from the struggle to establish the first 13 states and stars on the flag to keeping States rights and Federal powers in check, the union grew stronger and growing to 50 states (57 if you ask Obama). Federal powers years ago far exceeded what the founders and constitution laid out at the birth of this country.

Breitbart.tv : Romney Defends Super PAC Attacks

I'm independent leaning right, voting GOP 99% of the time and I like Romney BECAUSE he's considered a RINO (though I don't think he is), because he's not a far right divisive Conservative that would lose against Obama in the general election. We have get Obama out of there, and to win the necessary % of Independent votes Romney is our best bet by a mile. He garnered SC Gov. Nikki Haley's support, an avid tea partier and also the support of Krauthammer, Hume and a hoard of other significant conservatives. I'm hoping he taps Rubio as his VP, Romney/Rubio would beat Obama by the widest margin. Newt is a divisive, solipsistic, bomb-throwing lifetime politician, got $1.6M from Freddie Mac, chummy with Pelosi in support of Cap & Trade and global warming nonsense, slammed Ryan for his aggressive budget and medicare reform plan....he's all about Newt, no thanks. Romney is an accomplished business executive, saved the SLC Olympics with his leadership and exec. acumen, and he's precisely what this country needs, he's the anti-Obama when it comes to economic and business smarts.

If I were Newt and had his baggage I'd want my opponents to do the same thing. The GOP fears a Newt win, they want to beat Obama, look at all the Newt dissenters in the GOP circles...I personally don't care who wins as long as they beat Obama, but Newt is pretty toxic and divisive....his reign in the 80's-90's left a lot of scars, most folks that worked with him from the GOP side aren't supporting him now.

Balanced budgets, reduced debt, better business climate/regulations....bear in mind just the mere fact that Romney could win an uber-liberal Democratic State like Massachusetts with 85% Dem legislature shows he can garner moderate Dem and Independent support. You do realize that Romney was an accomplished business executive for 20+ years, much longer than his 4 years as governor, he built businesses like Staples and invested and grew others, he stepped in and took over the management of the failing SLC Olympics, turned it into a very successful and profitable olympics for Utah...that alone was a massive accomplishment on his impressive resume. Newt has been in politics for 20+ years, he's the poster boy for what's wrong with politics, need for term limits, need to get lobbyist and private money out of politics, his $1.6M from 'consulting' with Freddie Fannie in 2008 is just inexcusable crony capitalism....we can't argue about it just when Dems do it...jumping from public to private to public....it's gotta stop.

26k troops in S. Korea not 50k...but the point is still salient. However somewhat naive to think N. Korea wouldn't cause major havoc in S. Korea if we weren't there....same for Iraq, watch what happens now that Obama caved to the left and pulled every single soldier out of Iraq, with Iran on their border with insurgents in toe....dumb....even just 3-5k troops and a small base would have been significant enough to support and protect an embassy....rest assured that will come back to haunt us quickly. Agree though on the troops in countries like Japan and Germany, bring them home, deploy them elsewhere more vital. Don't agree on Vietnam, we should have gone in earlier, read up on history, that war was lost by politicians, in reality we never lost a battle in Vietnam, just lost support after having gone late, too small, and allowed Washington to screw it up. Communism must be stopped when countries are being invaded or destroyed....the communists in Vietnam were super brutal, killing citizens to show strength and spread fear, and 100's of thousands more died when we left....the world is too small to just stick our heads in the ground and be isolationists...Pauls wrong on that.

I agree, I'm a Romney guy....Obama needs to be held accountable for all of his failures including Stimulus 1 and the later peak of 10% unemployment, 4T in debt in 3 years, F&F, Solyndra/Beacon/Sunpower etc. and never did have to explain how he hadn't heard anything during his 20 years in Wright's sermons and started his run for political office at Ayers' house for a fundraiser (a point Ayers admits to in a youtube clip from Oct 2011).
Easy for Newt to say...he's got the most skeletons and history of bad choices and stupid statements and actions....just too fertile to expect his opponents to not point out his negatives. And by the way Newt, if you somehow managed to win the GOP nomination, do you think if you asked Obama Pretty Please don't run attack ads that he'd actually listen to you and refrain from doing so?
When did the Republican party become far right Conservative or bust? That's not how you tap into the 40% Independent vote. Newt's cap & trade global warming video with Pelosi is inexcusable, can't just say it was a mistake, it's a recent mistake. And the $1.6M from Freddie Mac 'consulting'...does he really think we're all lemmings and stupid. And slamming Congressman Ryan when he put the aggressive and conservative budget bill forward with a public/private solution to future Medicare enrollees to save that program....his loose/know it all lips sank that ship, pulling the rug right out from under Ryan, Boehner and the entire GOP party, enabling Obama, Reid and Pelosi to quote him slamming Ryan, his own! Inexcusable. Newt is about Newt, he's as solipsistic as they come in Washington. No thanks.

She wants the GOP to win. Romney is very good in debates, very level headed and won't crumble or say something that gets him in hot water. I fear with Newt that he'll be his usual know it all, snarky rude self and belittle the President, talk down to him and Obama in desperation will say "you're being disrespectful" or his cohorts will play that disrespect card, the race card, overtly or in code, and Newt will be demolished by the MSM.....which doesn't matter to me, but will sway Independents to Obama or keep them home come Nov, either spells 4 more years for Obama. I'm hoping for Romney/Rubio.
