Anyone who expects something other than a liberal activist nominee just isn't paying attention and, numbers being what they are, whoever he nominates will most likely be confirmed regardless of any republican opposition. Sessions is one of the most trusted conservatives in Washington and I'm sure he'll do the best he can to protect the interests of the USA, but until we elect more conservatives we'd better be prepared to accept a lot of bitter defeats in congress.

I'm surprised such archaic security measures are still in place since there's just no way anyone in the world could harbor any animosity to the One who currently occupies the White House. I thought all our fear of terrorists, or whatever we are allowed to call them these days, left the White House along with the previous occupants.

Breitbart.com : US needs rest of world economy to recover: Geithner

Let the rest of the world do as we do, borrow more money and if that isn't enough, crank up the presses and print their own. We aren't solving any problems. We're just leaving them for our future generations to deal with. We're staving off an inevitable collapse that will eventually occur when the overabundance of cash hits home and inflation takes over. We'll be lucky if we don't have an armed revolt no matter how it all turns out.

Big Hollywood : I'm 'Shocked' But Still Take Full Responsibility

President Obama said he would take responsibility for the bonuses and well he should since he was in position to veto the law and, whether he read it or not, he chose to sign it and give his okay to the bonuses. He could be honest and say he didn't read the bill, but that would be too easy and would confirm the suspicions of most of us that these people with whom we entrust the spending our tax money and to make our laws are derelict in their duties since nothing could or should be higher on their list of priorities than to be intrinsically familiar with those bills that come before them for their votes or, in the case of the president, his signature. You darn right he's responsible and he should not be allowed to forget it.

Breitbart.com : House passes bill taxing AIG and other bonuses

Shame on anyone who would vote for passage of such a bill as this. Those who received the bonus are guilty only of honoring the contracts they signed in return for services rendered. If our government can single them out for punishment then we are all vulnerable to the same kind of treatment regardless of our innocence or guilt.

I'd be a little less fearful if I believed this guy understood half of what he reads off that teleprompter that seems always to be available to tell him what to say. Mortimer Snerd had Edgar Bergen to put words in his mouth, but President Obama has a teleprompter and no one knows for sure who writes his lines.

Breitbart.com : Timothy Geithner, alone and working night and day

Who is cooking these polls showing 65% approval ratings for the president while stocks are at bargain basement prices and there are no takers? If I believed in Obama and the indispensible man he had to have, Geithner, and in his ability to solve the problem with the trillions of dollars he's spending, I'd be buying every bargain out there. Put your money where your mouth is folks. Even Obama supporters should be able to afford a buck or two a share for AIG, GMC or the NYT, if you really believe in the man you voted for.
