I agree with doomedincopa. it is sad when you have to worry about your dogs when you leave home and wonder if that will be the last time you see them. We do need to get rid of the police dept. and go back with the sherriffs dept. at least they did their jobs. I hope that these families get the justice they deserve. I have a rottie and I will be one mad mamma if they ever enter my yard and shoot my dog because of her breed. I do agree he should not only be removed from his position but should be stripped of his badge for ever. I own a rottie and I keep her in an enclosed yard and was told that these dogs are just as bad as a pit bull. Well if you fight them then yes but I understand that this dog bite that happened was approx. a 1 1/2 ago and this police cheif was not even here at that time.
