i consider henrique for the right back backup role if dalmau or montoya aren't ready for filling that position. in leverkusen he used to play that position but interpreted it in comparison to alves more defensively. alves unlike abidal don't need someone to push him so it isn't necessary paying any money for a new right backup. claudio bravo is too much. keep the money and renew with pinto for another year and promote one goalkeeper from the cantera who act as no 3.

thiago alcantára : txiki should be able to reach an agreemant with thiago we recently agreed for a new contract with his little brother. it schould be a formality to reach an agreement with him because he has a bright future in this club as well in the furia roja! he can play just like iniesta as an attacking midfielder and as leftwing/right wing. i'm pretty sure that he will remain in barça!! i think jonathan and gai are in terms of a contract extension a difficult case because they are serviced by the same agent who hasn't got the best relationship with the club. jonathan : jonathan should consider his brother as a warning example and should not make the same mistake. gio did fail in epl and didn't develope like he wanted to. even with zahavi as negotiation partner there is high possibility to keep him. jonathan hopefully knows he has a future in barcelona and that pep rates him high. gai : with gai its going to be complicated. in my opinion he isn't ready to play for the first team he needs another two years to play for the barca b in order to posses the physical conditions. i don't think he could help the first team at the moment. in recent years he used to have offers from epl clubs like chelsea,liverpool and so on but nowadays i think he would accept the offers if they are extraordinary( two mios for a three year contract) zahavi had shown on several occasions that he rate money over the development of his players. its going to be tough to reach an agreement.

great video. enyoid it! gael definteliy has the skills to become a great player. i do think he could establish himself in the first team as the successor of eto'o but it takes much time and practise so keep it up gael! ;-)

personally i agree with pep opinion its just useless to sign someone right now. i would prefer piqué than him for backing up the defensive midfield role. i guess vieiras time is up he had become very slow and was often injurd. he isn't capable for playing in a great club.

it was more a so called ''dirty transfer''. barcelona did have a preagreement for a contract with merida but arsenal ignored and did negogiate and agreed with him for a contract and thus without the knowledge of the barça administration. afterwards they recommend him to leave barça and again did not even notyfied the barça administration.

bayern changed their opinion and would now be satisfied by an offer about 50-60 mio for franck ribery. they are now ready to let him go after the season if he refuse their offer to extens his contract... robinho is by far the best option right now and is way cheeper than ribery! if pep gets him to be professionel whom respects the clubs philosophy than there is no reason to be pessimistic ;)
