If he had shut his wife up all those years ago we would have avoided Theresa May and Boris would have got us out of the EU in double quick time and saved the country a lot of anguish.

I have absolutely no sympathy for her. She is without doubt the worst PM this country has had to endure. She has made us the laughing stock of the world by trying to impose an impossible compromise/fudge Brexit instead of delivering the proper full one that Leave demanded. To make matters worse many of her domestic policies are more Liberal than Conservative. She may well have destroyed her party and ushered in a Marxist nightmare.

It is completely beside the point whether the majority of his constituents voted Remain. This was a national poll and it should be incumbent on every MP to support and deliver the national majority verdict. Most have not done this and made matters worse by trying to accommodate the minority which cannot work. What compromises would Remain have offered if they had won. None it would have been business as usual.

If she gets the WA agreement through the commons with Labour support (which she will need) hers and the Conservative party's future will actually get distinctly worse not better.

Andrea Leadsom wrote in the Sunday Telegraph that we should negotiate 'respecting the wishes of Remain voters'.
This is the policy that will lead to the undemocratic BRINO. Does anyone believe that if Remain had won any concessions would have been forthcoming to Leave voters. No it would have been business as usual. She is as useless as the rest of them.
