Since when do you have options to keep your insurance if your employer changes insurance companies. There is no such thing, never has been. You take the insurance your employer provides. Insurance companies do compete already, that is another untrue statement, if the government gets involved they can't compete. Government regulates fees paid to hospitals and doctors. Ins.
