KOMO - Seattle, WA : Boeing machinists vote to strike | KOMO News - Seattle, Washington | News

My union brother and sister, We come too far to turn around now. Let us let the union do their job we pay them to do and that is negation on our behalf. We are not striking to bring the company to their knees. Let us not forget, Boeing is our employer. We are striking for a better contract that we deserve. Forty eight hours is going to be painful for you. I suggest you take the rest of the week off to cool off. Let see where 48 hours take us. As far as the Governor is concern let Christine do her job. We pay her to do and that is. Allow this state to move with commerce. Other people and community are involved not just us and Boeing. The best way we as union members can help it stick together and support our union leaders. Take a LOA if you want time off and not use the strike as an avenue for time off.
