The idiots in D.C. think the phrase: "...government of the people..." means they have the right to govern the people. It was meant to mean a government belonging to the people. (eg: The house of Jenny and Bob..) Also, when Rome was falling, and the people were rioting, Ceasar took the citizens' mind off their misery by sport shows such as the lions versus the Christians and the like. These smoke screens work...I see more people reading sports pages than the news. As far as public education goes...I'm 75 years old and a lot has changed in our schools. They teach socialism, and nannyism. Proper education in the fundamentals of our Constitution , and the "Federalist Papers", without the revisionists, would be the best move for our country. Always remember that the cry of the tyrant is: "For the good of the many"!
