100% correct. Fixing the debt and all the other issues in this country is not going to be in response to the government's action. It comes from the people! That is what this country is all about! So how are the people going to fix this nation if they are TRAINED to let the government do everything, at a young age. As a nineteen year old myself, it is unfortunate that I must concur with the sad observation you have made about the young people in this country.

This semester someone actually yelled out during a class discussion about economics: “save us Obama!”

At that moment I felt something was very wrong.

A recent CNN poll (yes CNN) showed that most people approve of Obama's personal qualities and believe he has the right characteristics to be president, but are more disapproving of his actual policies...yet still seem to be an Obama follower.

Maybe it's just me, but is something not adding up here? Sure he could be the nicest guy in the world, but if he is the one making some of the most important decisions in this country: shouldn't policy come before personality?

After all we are obviously not all sitting down and having a cup of TEA with him, so why does personality matter so much? Policy is what matters!
