One can read stories nearly every day that confirms the belief that islam is a dangerous idealogy, this is just one more piece of rice in the kettle, so to speak. How much about islam do you know? You post would remind me of someone in 1930s Germany saying 'well, it was only one Jew that was beaten, and there really wasn't a reason to mention that the one who did it just happened to be a member of the Nazi party.' Consider the long term results of the religion over time, and also consider that the most fundamental followers of it, the ones who follow it the closest, are currently destroying schools in Pakistan and attempting to prevent girls from receiving any education what so ever. Also consider that islam frequently mentions that there is no compulsion in religion... then why are there only token populations of Christians and Jews in the whole of the Middle East, the birthplace of those religions? Ever wondered?

Previous Prophets, as did mohammed, warned us to be wary of false prophets. Islam's prophet has every mark of one, highlighted by the people who think they can take a short cut to heaven by killing themselves in God's name. Be wary of the Hour.

I actually feel some sympathy towards the woman, because I can forsee circumstances where she would have converted without fully exploring the religion. We all have to remember that when you convert, you don't know all of the nuances of a religion, and as we all know, once a muslim, always a muslim unto death, especially in the Middle East. I remember being fascinated by this religion when I took a course about in college, it sounded great! Structure, logic, rules of law that *cough* supported women, everything for a 'holy' society. Fortunately though, I'm a skeptic when it comes to my Professors, and I did my own homework on the religion. Maybe she didn't, and bam, it was too late. I think it's an easy trap to fall into, which is why the vaunted Islam is supposedly the world's fastest growing religion.

Besides, love is blind, almost to a fault.

You almost do have to feel bad for muslims on some level... such belief in a religion that strangled their pre-Islamic cultural growth and advancement, only to find out over the course of the past few centuries how lacking their pinnacle achievement is. Let's not even address the ultimate human example, who is a disgrace by today's standards. Leave him as a footnote in the chronicles of history.
