Curby, are you saying that even though the founding fathers and most of the nation used civility and respect prior to the declaration of independence that they were still not justified in taking up arms to secure the dream of an independant nation? Please define attack. I for one feel that the need for civility is growing to a close. I will show no respect to anyone that is actively destroying the nation, either on purpose or out of ignorance.

I don't think the Constitution mentions anything about insurance need to peacable assemble and protest. To hell with the city gov, or for that matter any one else that thinks insurance is needed for the event. I say for that reason, 10,000 should show up and stand on their constitutional rights. Let them try to arrest thousands for doing what the Constitution provides for each and every citizen. And by the way, did the organizers of the million man march on Washington, DC post an insurance bond?

I'd like to see a consitutional amendment that outlines in strict detail how our elected officials conduct themselves while in office with very strict penalties for transgressions of the rules. Like maybe lessor degrees of treason.
