Michael Scheuer's Non-Intervention.com : Bob Woodward's Obama: Holding office trumps U.S. lives and security

Possibly yes, but it is also worth noting that Mr. Obama was pro-Palestinian before he began his presidential campaign. His affiliation with pro-Palestinian professors and advocacy groups is no secret (a simple search on Google reveals he was a friend of Rashid Khalidi and conversed at a fundraiser dinner with Edward Said). He had to apologize for stating, "[n]o one is suffering more than the Palestinians," to assuage American Zionists.

Michael Scheuer's Non-Intervention.com : This is how Israel-First works to silence and damage its critics

This article reminds me of a very similar case a few years ago when Alan Dershowitz lobbied DePaul University (successfully) to deny tenure to Norman Finkelstein, a respected scholar on the Israel-Palestine conflict, because he made remarks which were vehemently critical of Israel (not to mention he also exposed Mr. Dershowitz as a fraud and a plagiarist). I do not understand how Mr. Grayson concluded that your remarks were anti-Semitic. But considering how former DCI Woolsey called Ray McGovern anti-Semitic for saying that Israel pushed the US to invade Iraq, this annoying canard has unfortunately proven to be a useful weapon to silence anyone to the left of AIPAC and the Likud party.

Michael Scheuer's Non-Intervention.com : Just coincidence?: Mid-term elections and good news from Afghanistan

Mr. Scheuer, I'm a bit confused as to whether you consider Pakistan to be an ally of the United States. I've read elsewhere that the ISI knows bin Laden's exact location but that they're using that intelligence as a bargaining chip to prevent the United States from supporting Pakistan's archenemy India. Is it a mere conspiracy theory, or is it a possibility?

President Obama is quite intelligent. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, and he was the editor-in-chief of Harvard Law Review. He receives intelligence briefings on a regular basis, and Obama is certainly cognizant of domestic and global affairs. Now, I say none of that to his credit. Indeed, it is actually much more horrifying if we elected someone who is actually capable of thinking and analyzing matters critically and reasonably but is unwilling to do what's necessary to act in the best interest of the American people. He is a very clever politician who has the potential, but to denigrate his intelligence or capacity to think is - I think - making excuses for a man who deserves to be criticized for cowardice. Ray McGovern recently wrote an article entitled "Obama Knows the War is Dumb, but Prefers Power Over Peace." Perhaps we can see some real change in 2010 with Rand Paul elected into the Senate and in 2012 with either Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich in the White House? I remain skeptical but hopeful for America's sake.
