But, can't you see what's happening because of our country's attitude towards other people? This resentment towards others not within our country (or tribe) has caused backlash were we demand the government to do something about it. Why should the government have a say of what status people are? If we are to be for minute government, then we ought to be consistent when we are treating others.

Our inability to see the connection between flooding of immigration and drug war, which in turn, gives the immigrants a reason to flood the best country in the world illegally. By ending the drug war, it will alleviate the hardship within the countries south of us, and create a vibrant economy because they'll be able to produce and profit from their own naturally grown product.

In other words, because we've, including the church, treating others like lower class with a tribal fashion, we've brought this on ourselves. End the so-called flood of immigrants, then end the drug war. When we blame the immigrants, all we are doing is putting blame on the consequence of an issue not the cause. Again a call for less government in the market, in this case internationally and nationally, is what we ought to be crying out for. Not this get the immigrants out of here; that will only give the government more cause to grow bigger.

So, they caused the mental problems, if there is any, then try to make it look like it's not the government's fault. It sounds more like the weapons situation. Whenever our government trains or gives weapons to somebody to fight somebody else, it comes back to bite them. With the retired soldiers, the government is afraid that the former soldiers will come back to haunt them. When will people see that it's not about security of the people, but the monopoly of the security company which is called the government via Pentagon? They're just using and treating the young Americans no differently then they did with Bin Laden versus the Russians. Useful one day, need to be rid of the next.

It's like they're trying to make criminals out of the soldiers. I mean, what soldier who had to fight and survive in such wars, assuming that was their situation since they have a "mental disorder", would ever obey such a thing as giving up his weapons? That's lunacy by the government. Laughable if it wasn't going to be so deadly. Soldiers taunted the American Indians when they wanted to fight or start a war against the natives in order to clear them out and look like they were on the right side of history. Is our government doing the same thing again? Or, are they overbearing paternalistic progressives who want to help others by not seeing the perspective of the people that they're forcing help upon? Could be a mixture of both - the taunters using the useful idiots.

This is only to make the government even bigger. They'll have to setup another bureaucracy to handle the immigrants this way. With the budget and debt crisis looming, I can't see this being successful. Yet, this almost seems to be something of the unions method of keeping certain labor out of America or be maintained by the government in order to reduce competition. This is what happened in Australia during around WWII when immigrants were trying to escape the turmoil in Europe. The labor unions wanted immigrants out so they setup laws that would either manhandle the immigrants or keep them out. Therefore, the irony of this is that the conservatives who adamantly oppose unions are standing up for the same laws that unions are for. Though, I'm afraid this time it's much worse and may try to go beyond just immigration.

I think it's time for Americans to rethink immigration. Immigrants are not the enemy; it's the ones that want to harm our economy. It's time for Americans to think about things such as immigration as an economic issue not just "they're in the way". Besides, immigration has been going down a lot. When our country is doing good, everybody wants in; the opposite is true. So, it's not about immigrants; it's about our economic policies and how we treat others. Situations of Immigration are simply a result of our economy.

During the 1870s there was a devastating recession. It could have collapsed the country. Yet, except for two factors. One being that abortion was not around so you dint have millions of new people, potential money makers, being killed. Secondly, immigration was strong. For these reasons, our country actually grew in GDP during this recession. Plus, the government didn't try to bail out anybody by adding more credits to the bank, which always helps when they don't. Though they also did have wars, they didn't have unending disputes, which helps the economy by not having unending wars.

By blaming the outsiders for our mess will only bring more of mess to our situation. Economically, the country will lose workers that help create synergy for our economy. Remember it's not our government policies that create wealth, it's people - doesn't matter who they are. Just because they're not declared legal by our government doesn't mean they can't generate wealth. It's not government that has the power to declare a person valuable, but who does - or should I say Who? Besides what is real wealth of a nation anyways? The wealth that we have been aborting.

Socially, by blaming immigrants, it makes our country more divisive. It's one more step to nationalism - Germany 1930s. If we are truly concerned about the criminal element that certain immigrants bring into our country, then we ought to advocate to legalize their product, the product that comes from their original country - drugs. This will help reduce the criminal element within their country. Won't be perfect, but neither is Chicago or D.C. right?

It's interesting that people are so vocal and outraged about immigrants, but with taxes that fund abortions and theft of future generations (or am I repeating myself?) it's only a somber complaint.

They already are desensitized. Whenever they're at a dead body, it's nothing but extra pay.

I can see it now that a lot of conservatives, who are stuck in this two-party paradigm, will argue that Rubio is only paying back a favor because they did him a favor. They will even argue that Rubio is a tea party member; therefore, Rove and his PAC is inline with tea party values. Never will it occur to these people, who argue for Rubio this way, that people like Rove were the ones that put Rubio up in the first place. That Rubio came from those people and not the tea party. This is how they, specifically the GOP, fool the voters.

That's the whole point. it shows their hypocrisy.

Yes, this might be offensive to conservatives in GA, but he'll support the military and everything will be ok.

Why not? If these bills pass, they'll lose customers a lot more customers than they would just LE customers. As Ice T said I'll give up mine if law enforcement and military give up theirs first.

Again another program that's silly, useless, and harmful to students' future. It's as if the people that setup these programs never had a real job, and they're more focused on schooling (not to be confused with education) than getting a job after school.

If it's unfair, then I would suggest getting rid of government subsidies and automatic loans and stop promoting these schools as the only means of a proper education.

Is white unfair? Maybe. But, most of us are mixed anyways as Tiger Woods wanted to describe himself, but for political reasons Nike made him change his own description.

This irritates me badly and personally....

I'm trying to do something great in this world. I've spent a lot of money to educate myself. It just becomes increasingly harder when employers, who have nothing to do with an industry that comes naturally, look at these colleges and the trend of their education system, and think that it's a joke. What employer in their right mind - who lives in the "real world" - would want to hire a college student when colleges have this stigma? I know people will say that people hire anybody that can do the job, but that's not how people think. It's like scared money (real value not fiat), and scared money don't run to something with a bad rep.

Then, on top of that, to use student fees. That's just stealing. Many of those students are there to do something greater than what they're spending the money on. It's an insult and a slap to the face. Most likely many of the students that do go to this event are ones that just there to have fun or not really into education or even on their parents' dime. Sure, these schools may spend more money on other more important things, but they're more known for this event and not that important thing.
